Kitchen closes at 10pm. If you like Punk and a nice even atmosphere. It’s a great place to chill. They have a photo booth and some games. Bathrooms are around the back and they’re pretty decent for a dive bar. Helping friends as they throw up in a place like this will certainly leave a vivid memory. Love the place!

Margaritas were… bad. $19 for 2 of them and got little to no buzz. Tasted like tequila with sprite/mtn dew, not a margarita.
Also, the bartender dude on Thu Jan 8th closed up at 2am but stayed behind with two of his friends a white dude (in the “Humble Sea” hoodie in my pic) and a black woman. I was skating all night nearby and heard the white dude come out at about 3:30-4am and he walked and fell face first off a raised concrete platform then got up and pissed on a nearby fence, then proceeded to get into his car and drive away. Not sure why the bartender served that dude so much and let him leave with his keys. Also never saw the black lady come out of the bar and he was serving her tequila shots up til 2am.
Other than that the vibe was chill, nice no frills spot, the large anime devil woman was a little offputting but hey the worlds a little weird haha.

Classic dirty dive bar! The place where bad choices are made. Drinks are cheap and there is Skeeball! It is off the Beaten path but worth the stop. Just a warning. Don’t expect clean bathrooms.

We walked in around 6pm, late summer. the place didn’t seem too busy and the bartender seemed distracted or focused on friends. It was quite some time before we were able to order drinks (15-20 minutes), so much so that one of our friends decided to leave before we could order.
Once we did order drinks, the only bartender made OK drinks and was a bit sloppy–not memorable by any means except for the sounds of falling drinks and broken glass.
I will say the servers were very nice and the food we ordered came out hot and fresh.
Small location with limited elseating although it seemed they set up park tables in a lot to accommodate larger crowds/events

This bar eminates bad vibes… the bartender is rude (the guy) and definitely not worth the visit or money. Btw… they lock their front door and close their bathrooms with customers inside during business hours. Can someone say hazard….

Small hole in the wall no frills spot with strong drinks and great food. We were visiting from SoCal and a few local friends took us here. While it’s small we didn’t feel crowded at all. All 12 of us were seated inside with others coming and going around us. We ordered a bunch of fried food to eat with their house made ranch sauce, everything was really tasty. Great spot for a chill night.

Nothing really stood out about this place or the experience. Despite it’s size, the place felt large enough for the amount of people there on a Thursday night. It was by no means a bad experience, the staff were friendly, the selection of drinks on tap different than your usual selection you’ll find around Sacramento. What seems ideal about this place is that it is between some other popular local bars.
If you were trying to go out for drinks with friends but stopped by a cover charge to see a live band at one place, or avoid the crowds and waiting at more popular places, Elixir is a welcome respite from “the usual”.
