Pizza was pretty mid. The crust was slightly burnt. The flavor of the pizza was pretty weak. Nothing special about it at all. The staff working was rude. Asked for parmassian and they said they didnt have any while I could see it behind.

I finally tried Scratch Pizza in Riverside, and wow—I’m so glad I did. You can really taste the difference in the way they make everything from scratch. The crust has that perfect balance of chewy and crispy, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and they definitely don’t skimp on the cheese or toppings.
The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away, which gave the place a really cozy, family vibe. It felt less like going to a chain and more like supporting a neighborhood spot that puts a lot of love into their food.
What I appreciated most is how fresh everything tasted. You can definitely tell they actually care about the quality. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every bite. Definitely worth the drive, and I’m already looking forward to going g back.

My girlfriend and I try all the pizza places in our general area to give them a shot. First thing we noticed was the wallet friendly prices. The chicken wings we got were great and the pizza we got was good but the crust was tough. The flavor was there but definitely needed a dipping sauce or something to get the crust down. Worth another shot in the future I’d say.

Today September 24th, 2024, I decided to try the Scratch Pizza after few weeks of staying in City of Norco California. As entered the store this beautiful young lady greeted me, she showed me the menu and asked please let me know when you ready, I ordered a large thin crust pizza, cheese, chicken and mushrooms. I left store and came back around 15 minutes, waited couple of minutes pizza was ready, she put the pizza in the box, I told her I worked in the pizza place almost 40 years ago, she asked do you still know how to make pizza? and I replied yes, I still know how to make good pizzas, she replied not better than me. She was right the pizza is good with right amount of toppings. If you are in the area, give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

We just picked up a pepperoni pizza and a Thai chicken pizza. I have had the Thai chicken pizza so many times. Its my absolute favorite, but this one was phenomenal. Amazing!!

11-11-2021 UPDATE: DOWNGRADE TO ONE STAR.
This WAS my go to place for pizza, made my first return visit since the pandemic, Holy Cow, what had happened to Scratch Pizza???
I ordered the XL 4-Toppings Pizza, sausages, bacon bits, mushrooms and green bell pepper.
The sausages DID NOT taste like sausage at all, more like Tofu-ges, or somekind of imitation soy-meat. Secondary, I always had Canadian Bacon before, now they charge $4.50 extra, describbed as Premium Topping. After I ate the first piece, I realize there were no sauce, checked with a store clerk, he said there is sauce under the cheese, I showed him the pizza, again he assured me “Oh, Yeah, it’s there.” My vision and taste buds must have been off, I did not see or taste the sause at all.
It was a big let-down, gotta find me a different pizza joint now.

Always a hit at this place! Although, I am both sad and amused at the way they cut the pizza. There was an employee who would slice the pizza non-proportionally. Personally, I didn’t care but when it happened, it always brought a smile to my face and made us laugh. Doesn’t impact the pizza—pizza still tastes amazing. Just loved the lob-sided slices. And I always knew which worker it was.
Unfortunately, either this worker left or retrained bc the disproportionate slices are gone which does make me sad. But still, their pizza is still amazing and I love it. Just miss the joy of seeing various slices of pizza.

Solid experience overall! The delivery was impressively quick—definitely a win when you’re starving. The pizza itself was good—hot, fresh, and satisfying, though nothing that completely wowed me.
