After reading the reviews about all the inconsistencies in their store hours and constant closures we still decided to give this place a chance. We pulled up on a Monday morning at 7:30 (within their listed Google hours) and of course they are closed. I understand it’s a smaller business with two people but if you are struggling as bad as you are with keeping it openIt’s ok to have multiple days off where you are closed consistently and will retains much bigger and loyal customer base when you can keep your doors open when you say you are going to be open.
I’d LOVE to try the donuts and apple fritters but I’m not going to waste my time and gas driving to a place that is more likely than not to be closed. So please figure out your hours days when clearly it’s not working for you or the customers.
Maybe we will give this place another chance in a few months but for now we are sticking with reliable and consistent businesses that we don’t have to gamble on.

Hours on your Facebook also state you are open at 5:30 since you don’t seem to have a website and you have no hours posted on your store either so not to tell you how to run your business but maybe post your hours on yourstore. Have a blessed day!!

The owners are amazing. Its like finding a diamond in the rough. I’ve been living in the apartments nearby for 2 years and I’ve always been meaning to go and try it out. Today was the day! I got my kid some cinnamon rolls and some long johns. I told the wife, who was at work, and she asked for some. By the time I got back, they were already closed. But the owner was nice enough to let me in still. 10/10 will go back again

I live nearby and would love to try these donuts, but I have come by multiple times on Saturdays between 8 and 9am and they are always closed 🙁 Just today I saw at least 5 other people stop by the shop and then leave. The people want donuts and/or consistent hours!

Great traditional donuts and rolls, and homemade too! They serve drip coffee only, but the donuts are the star of the show. I will be back for more!

Best apple fritters I’ve had.
The Hours aren’t consistent and the owners say that they work 365 days a year and seem to have trouble keeping up. A friendly suggestion?—try closing 2 or 3 days a week to give yourself some rest and give your customers confidence in your service hours.

Stopped here before work for a donut, but due to a 5 dollar minimum purchase requirement on cards, I ended up with 3. Best inconvenience to ever grace me! These donuts were fresh, warm, and fluffy, not to mention delicious! I got a classic glazed, a Persian with sugar, and an apple fritter, and they all blew my mind; I ended up eating them all on my 10 minute drive to work. Overall fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back!

By far the best donut I have eatin in a very very long time. I will be back. I don’t think these donuts can be beat. I’d wait outside in a tent for hours if I had too just to get a single glazed donut. Holy cow they are good.

Oh man, this little donut shop in Lamplighter Square sells super delicious donuts. Their maple cinnamon roll is to die for. Well, to be truthful, all of their donuts are equally as good.. Decent prices to boot and friendly service.

We have driven past this place many many times but never made an attempt to stop in…just seen a write up in the Post about this being their 40th anniversary so on Valentines morning, I rushed out to get my daughters and wife a few dounuts. WOW, super delicious. I now know where my go-to donut shop is! Awesome!
