I have been ordering from this establishment for at least 20 years. I’ve never had an issue. I’ve enjoyed their food and they’ve always been very nice to me over the phone. But last night, Christmas Eve as I lay in bed with a bad cold I placed an order on Uber Eats. I simply wanted to make sure that one detail on my order was correct, so I called the store and the man who answered the phone screamed at me for calling him. Screamed at me like I had insulted his family. He then hung up on me. So naturally, I Immediately canceled my order. I woke up this morning to an email from Uber Eats telling me that they had already started my order so I was charged $66 for an order I never received. I’ve never been treated that badly in any establishment of any kind. I also have to wonder as it was less than two minutes between me placing the order, calling them, being treated that way, being hung up on and me canceling your order. How in the world if they were that busy could they have started my order in less than two minutes? I am extremely insulted!

The BBQ fried rice & Beef and broccoli with no bamboo shoots is super bomb! The chicken lo mein is fire! The honey walnut shrimp is devine. All the soups are good and the wonton soup is my favorite when I’m sick. I’m not a fan of the orange chicken but my husband loves it. Overall some of the best Chinese food on the Westside if you know what to order. It’s a family ran and owned business which I love to support and they are always nice and welcoming. In the 12 years I’ve been eating Wacky Wok they only got my order wrong once, when they were super busy and they were super cool about fixing it, no issue, no attitude. I give it my local stamp of approval

We’ve had 2 favorite Chinese restaurants close in the past few years and tried and tried many others to no satisfaction,and then my wife and I tried WACKY WOK and now we have found that satisfaction once again.

There’s a lot that I miss about being from New York. Bodegas. Being able to just walk a block or 2 to almost anything you need. But now I don’t have to miss NY style Chinese food!
They have all your favorites, including veggie egg rolls. The Orange Tofu is delicious. They are great folks. Fast service. Limited seating so pick up is best option.

Don’t order from here. Customer service is hideous and if you dare order chicken lo mein via delivery, you’ll be beyond pissed to discover a huge box of lo mein and literally 5 little chicken strips! They skimp BIG TIME on the protein and if you dare try to call and complain, the actual manager there will immediately convey the notion that he doesn’t care and “if you have a problem, call uber eats.” Unbelievable. Damn near $50 wasted trying to have family dinner. We had to turn right around and order pizza…smh..NEVER EVER AGAIN will I order from here. I knew I should have ordered from Mao’s Kitchen instead. Lesson learned!!

I’m not usually one to leave reviews but just save yourself some trouble and don’t go here. I placed an order for takeout on the website. The meat for my beef chow mein was raw, I called they said something about the meat supplier and that he can give me a new one tomorrow because they were now closed. I came in today to get a refund (obviously I didn’t want another one) and the lady said she could only give me the menu price and not the online price because they have to pay a fee for that. I was charged the online price it doesn’t make sense to not give me the full amount. I left since I didn’t feel like arguing for a few bucks I just hope this doesn’t happen to other people they need to improve their customer service and food quality.

The food was cooked to order and our wait was not long. The person at the register spoke English fluently. I highly recommend the orange chicken! Though we are only here for one week, we will return! (That being said, I’m not sure how to compare the prices—though many locals seemed to be keeping them busy with call outs!)
