I have been working in the area staying in Independence and have enjoyed their pizza many times. I have a gluten allergy so I was happy to find they have two gluten free crust options. They have a delicious raised edge cauliflower crust and a thin crispy rice crust. They are 12 inch pizzas. Last night I ordered one of each topped the same for comparison. I enjoyed both. Depending if you want a thinner more crispy or a raised edge slightly thicker both are great !!! Thank you Augies for providing options for people who have a legitimate gluten allergy.
Your pizza is great !!!

Rarely do I feel compelled to really compliment a business on consistently outstanding service and food, but Augie’s just does it right. We used them recently to cater a holiday party and I don’t think a single person left hungry-everyone was raving about the food (especially the fried chicken, pasta and the cookies). I called around 72 hours beforehand and they handled it all. They are always timely, accommodating and their customer service is excellent. We had 40 guests and more than enough food at a reasonable price. It couldn’t have gone smoother.
Tonight for my daughter’s birthday party, we ordered several pizzas, salad, breadsticks, etc. Everything showed up right on time and fresh, which is a tall order for a Friday night in a busy small town (and for our guests with gluten allergies, the cauliflower pizza was top notch).
We will continue to frequent Augie’s and will absolutely use them again for not only Friday pizza nights, but for future large parties! You just can’t go wrong with them!

Augie’s promises slices till three, but by two-thirty it’s cold leftovers. Quality is mid and customer service feels like they’re judging you for not buying a full pie.

Not authentic Italian New york Stile Pizza the crust was more like a pan thick bread and not enough sauce it dint taste like oven baked. Not even close to papa jhons or dominos. I saw the guy not using gloves

Pizza taste is good but a medium pizza is the size of a small for 22$.

Well…
The pros good flavor and decent quantity.
The cons the salad was very basic with only the toppings in the picture plus cheese and lettuce. I ordered my spaghetti with sausage and only received a piece that was one and a half, maybe 2 inches long. I paid extra to include sausage and that’s what I got? Very disappointing.
The wings are baked, I prefer breaded then sauced.

Pizza is my favorite food and I eat a lot of it. With that said, Augies pizza in Independence has a fantastic recipe that is guaranteed to leave even the most experienced pizza critics with a smile on their face. Highly recommended and I can assure you I’ll be ordering again!
