Atmosphere is great – but sadly the food and service was lacking. We were the only ones in the restaurant and this is how my country fried steak was served – as raw as could be, after waiting for over 40 minutes.
The server was nice enough to cook me another one, but refused to get me another side of hash browns (which I paid extra for) that were touching the raw meat they served me, then only took $4 off the $12 meal to make up for it.
Great vibes, but if you are hungry, I recommend getting pancakes or something that doesn’t involve them cooking raw meat.

Stopped in and there was a group of about 8, otherwise it was completely open. After we arrived, about 4 other groups had come. There was only one server and one cook, and the menu had just been updated yesterday. Unfortunately the service was slow, which wasn’t anyone’s fault other than being short staffed and a lot of people coming at one time. We waited for close to an hour for our food, but it was worth it. It was delicious!

I would highly recommend Kennedy’s Cafe! The food and service are both out of this world! Our experience was so amazing that I would be willing to drive all the way from our home in Bloomington, MN, just to get breakfast and then go home again. The Fried Chicken Benedict and Biscuits and gravy are both phenomenal.

If you are looking for skillets, pancakes and traditional breakfasts, this is your place. Overall too greasy for our tastes and no yogurt or berries/fruit available. Walls are covered with entertaining signs. Cozy and well worn atmosphere with small outdoor patio.

Excuses, rude staff, and subpar quality of food make this a place we will never go to again. After waiting for 45 minutes, I asked the waitress how much longer it would be for our food. Although she said she would check, she never came back. After 50 minutes, our food was delivered cold and not cooked properly. The eggs Benedict was way overcooked, the other eggs that were supposed to be hard, were still soft and runny. When we attempted to bring it to the attention of the waitress, she walked away, and the next thing we know someone came out of the building and started raising her voice and telling us we were rude. I asked her why we were rude to point out that the food was not properly cooked, and that it was cold. Her excuse was that they were busy. However, there were only three tables inside with people who had been there before we got there. And, the four tables outside, all came after we did. Apparently, we are supposed to accept that busy means there are no standards or that we should lower our standards to whatever they decide they want at the moment. We were perfectly fine waiting for our food, and would not have had an issue had it been cooked properly and served at least warm. To be told we were rude when we would not accept this is totally unconscionable! Instead of making excuses, an apology should have been forthcoming. Instead, we were told to pay the bill for food we did not eat. I am all about being patient and understanding when places are busy and low on staff. But that works both ways. To have someone yell at us when we tell them the food is not acceptable and then demand we pay for it? What are we coming to?
