There isn’t much in the town of Ignacio. I’m traveling here for work and I got their famous green chili burger. The patties were not fresh, but frozen. I took a few bites and gave it a chance but I could not finish, I spent out my last bite, because something hard, and it hit my teeth. I’m pretty surprised the restaurant would use frozen patties especially with all the local quality beef in the area. I won’t be dining here again. I have no idea what made this burger famous.

Rose’s is a great spot! We’ve tried lots of items from here and have enjoyed the experience. Their green chile sauce is one of the best around!

Went in to try this place out for the first time and surprisingly their parking lot was full. I had an okay experience. I think I interacted with the owner which is a very nice and welcoming lady. Food was okay, I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga. Meat was tender and I like the green chile. The rice and beans weren’t my favorite, rice was halfway cooked and had some crunchy pieces to it.
My family and I went there recently and just didn’t have the same experience as the first time I had gone by myself with my baby boy. Didn’t enjoy the vibe from one of the servers. Felt like they were bothered because my son would be screaming here and there (of joy or teasing). My family complained (to me ) that the food didn’t have any flavor to it and didn’t like the servers energy. They would not return as they didn’t enjoy it.

This restaurant is a real gem in Ignacio. Upon our arrival it was obvious the place was good as it was hard to get a parking place. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed many local dining on various Mexican/American food. When locals support a restaurant you know it is good. We ordered a red and green chili hamburger plate. Both were very tasty. Our waitress was very personable and took time to visit with us. We will find ways to return in the future.

Drive on by surprise$2.99 fee on bill, asked about it and server stated she did not see it on menu either. She asked add was told for extra prep. We ordered straight off the menu..I consider this theft and dishonest. Donate to children or disabled veterans or battered spouses not to a greedy owner.
Other places in town to eat. Bayfield only 10 miles north with good cafes and people.
I recommend ANYWHERE ELSE.

If I could give more stars, I would. What a hidden gem. My father and I went to the casino for a car show, instead of eating there, we decided to look elsewhere for food. Glad we did. Taco dinner and chicken nachos were on point. Cute little Cafe. Our server and hostess were so nice. Will return for sure.

What a treat to find a family owned well run diner in this little town. Only had the rellenos and a milk shake but they they were the best n a long time for us. Next time will try the green chili burgers. Ok. Came back and had the green chili burger and another milkshake. Just the best.
