We have been through Wilmot plenty of times but never stopped in here. That will definitely change now that we found Hansen’s! You don’t have to wonder if they will have a good “Flavor of the Day” – they have multiple flavors every day! Not sure if you will like it, ask for a sample or two. Then order a couple scoops and enjoy! The atmosphere here was great. The workers and customers were all friendly and I can’t wait to go back!

Gee whiz, finally leaving a shining review since I took my family here last July after stumbling onto this place on Google maps shortly before taking my wife out on our 9th anniversary to The Wilmot Stage Stop.
Superior quality and exceptional tasting ice cream at still reasonable prices in an old setting bolstered by friendly service as well. We love the ice cream here and will most likely be back sometime after my stepdaughter returns from college at the end of this month.
We were in Antioch at the time I decided to take my family here which from our house in Beach Park is more than a 20-mile haul. I’ve always strived to support local and would gladly come back here, that ice cream was delicious!
Hope for continued booming business, success & prosperity for the owner(s) for several years to come!

We stopped here last night for the first time and it’s solid. The location is much better than the one they had before down the street. The other location was why we did not have the opportunity to try it before.
The place is nice and has plenty of parking. The staff was nice and helpful as well. The ice cream in our opinion was just so so. Maybe I had super high expectations, but wasn’t anything out of this world. We agreed to go again next week and will try all different flavors and circle back if our opinion changes.

This is a mom and Pop ice cream shop in the making
As you walk in, you’ll get a strong aroma of the delicious vanilla waffles that are being made in the shop. They offer popcorn and also candy at the end and also includes a nice seating area for a small group and they also have outdoor seating was a little bit of a drive for us but definitely worth it very rich flavors. I got the upside down filled Oreo. my kids, God Different flavors of the day but we had to make sure we get one of the waffle cones.
I’m excited to come back and try a different flavor. I was looking at the popcorn, but didn’t get one this time.
It’s definitely worth the experience in the adventure to go and see the shop. The surface was very nice and everyone was super friendly.

They’ve upgraded their location and space. Still lines out the door, but who wouldn’t wait for ice cream. Kids got fresh waffle cones and we got the 24 1 ounce flight. Yes, we finished the flight. Getting too old for this, but who’s too old to eat 24 ounces of good ice cream.
