Food is really good
Recommend getting the egg pancake with a soy milk combo.

Service takes a long time to make the food. When it gets busy with lots people can take a long time
But food is freshly made from scratch and tastes very authentic, worth the wait. You want the food to be made fresh or else it wont taste right, like the pancakes need be crunchy.

Probably need wait 20min plus sometimes.

Got seating on side of store but not well stocked, ie don’t expect napkins or the table or floor to be cleaned up, more of a fast food vibe.

Tao Rice Roll is unique as it’s one of the only places in the area that serve up Taiwanese Rice Rolls. This place makes many different types that would satisfy most palates. Outside of rice rolls they also offer other things like soup, savory pancakes, sticky rice and noodles. Tao is one of the only Taiwanese/Chinese restaurants that opens early so if you’re craving for Asian cuisine in the morning Tao has you covered! We went here at 8am and there weren’t too many people, but by 8:30 there was a long line. Definitely makes sense to get here early if you’re looking to avoid a line!

I drive an hour each way just to come here. I usually get the rice rolls and savory soy milk to go, which are always good. But my neighbor recommended their wonton soup, and it completely changed my mind.

The wontons are filled with fish instead of pork, so they’re light and not greasy at all. You can taste the ginger, which makes it very comforting and warming. It’s healthy, flavorful, and truly satisfying.

I now enjoy their wonton soup even more than their rice rolls.

They make some really good rice roll. I especially love the Taiwan roll, it’s my favorite! The food is fresh and tasty, definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the place could be cleaner, but overall still a great spot.

A Hidden Gem for Traditional Flavors!
This little gem of a store has become my go-to spot for authentic, freshly made traditional Chinese street food pancakes and Taiwanese-style rice rolls. Everything is made to order, and you can truly taste the care and craft in each bite. The pancakes are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with delicious fillings. The rice rolls are just like the ones I remember from back home—comforting, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the flavor and the nostalgia. I keep coming back, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone craving a taste of home or something new and delicious!

This is the ultimate breakfast. I am so extremely glad to have been put on to this place. I have tried several different rice rolls here and they’re all incredibly delicious. Everything is so fresh, so flavorful and always consistent. There are a few tables inside but this is mostly a “to-go” place. Service is always good and food is always prepared on time. I would practically live here if I could.

We ordered a few rice rolls. They were absolutely wonderful and good price. We ordered eel rice roll, pork and kimchi rice rolls. They all have the dried shredded pork that my niece would call it carpet. It gives the amount of crunchiness and they were really good. The noodle soup broth was light in flavor which balance out. Service was wonderful, however the menu is in Chinese. They do have English menu on the wall. Overall, really good food and we will definitely return.

Good until today I have to pull out a long hair from the inside of the roll covered by rice. How we supposed to finish this roll?
Food safety should be re-considered for this place. To say goodbye to a restaurant I like before is sad for me too.

A great spot for Taiwanese breakfast classics. The food is delicious here, but the service is pretty inefficient, and they run out of things a lot. They have a lot of rice rolls with various filings and purple rice. What’s really great is that they have soy milk, herbal soups that are really healthy, and other small dishes. The interior is very small and gets crowded on Saturdays.

I would highly, highly recommend calling ahead or ordering online. During busy times, it’ll take 45 minutes to get your food. Just plan to wait that long even if you order ahead. Last time I ordered online, I still had to wait 30 minutes in store, and they gave me white rice instead of people rice, which costs extra.

Was craving some Taiwanese styled breakfast and decided to try this place. We got the bacon rice roll, beef rice roll, double egg pancake, and sweet soy milk. The food was unique as I’ve never had rice rolls like this before. It has additional ingredients in there that I’m not used to having. The double egg pancake was good and very flavorful. This place can get busy, but the food is made fresh and comes out pretty quickly.
