I was working in Wilmington, Delaware on a 2023 Dodge Charger SRT 392 Scat Pack and I asked the Customer Service Representative at Preston Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & RAM of Wilmington Body Shop where is a good local and non-chain place to eat. He immediately recommended Rice Restaurant which was less than 1.0 mile away. Rice is essentially a fusion of Sushi, Sashimi, and Chinese Cuisine with great cocktails. Rice is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great food, drinks, and beverages served in a beautiful and comfortable dining and bar area. They have a very nice menu that is not too busy but it has something for everyone including some unique and special menu items. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! It can get very busy in there and so arrive early and you won’t be disappointed!
Upon entering, I was we immediately greeted by Budi B. who was my host and server. He was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and had a genuine smile. It was a Wednesday around 01:30 PM and I was immediately seated and provided with a menu and my beverage order taken. Budi provided me with my beverage- Water, no ice, and four lemons. I told him that my customer had highly recommended the restaurant. I asked him for his lunch recommendations and favorites. He directed me to the various lunch specials that they offer and recommended the Shrimp w. Broccoli Lunch Combo. I ordered the combo spicy with Pork Fried Rice, Shrimp Egg Roll, and a side Green Salad.
Everything was so tasty, absolutely delicious and my meal was prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and served hot. Budi was very attentive, friendly, efficient, and happy to help! In short, the fabulous food and awesome customer service made for a great dinning experience! I will definitely be returning here when I am in the area to try some of their other phenomenal appetizers, entrees, and specials. Kudos to Budi!

This is my 2nd time here yet again great friendly service our waiter he was on point.
Food was really amazing I absolutely loved and recommend the Crab Rangoon’s they are absolutely amazing.
You will not leave hungry but only wanting more.
I will say Rice is on my list of places I’d 10/10 want to adventure again.

Pretty solid Japanese/East Asian cuisine. The staff is super friendly and quick to help you decide on a dish if you’re feeling overwhelmed. The food always tastes fresh and is cooked perfectly. The ambiance is really elegant and simple. The place doesn’t get too loud so you can have a real conversation in here. The prices are higher than I’d like but I have never felt like I wasn’t getting what I paid for.

This place is kind of a hidden gem. It’s not very noticeable if you driving around to look for a place to eat. I hope they will improve on that. The dining room is spacious and very comfortable. Food was above average. The hot and sour soup was nice and hot (both temp and spiciness) and not too thick. My wife ordered the Pad Thai lunch and I ordered Lo Mein lunch with shrimps. The noodles are stir fried just right, al dente, and nicely seasoned. The only comment I have is the Pad Thai is too heavy in ketchup. We also ordered a 3 sushi roll combo and they were very nice too. Our waitress, Lidia, was very friendly and attentive. I’d recommend this restaurant. We’ll be back.

Outstanding! I’m in town working a food show and this place was recommended by a local sales rep. I had Tokyo Punch(Cucumber Vodka Cocktail) and Sesame Chicken. The drink was very good and the Ses Chx was Outstanding. I’ve been in the restaurant business my whole life and have always liked Chinese food, this was probably the best Chinese dish I’ve ever ordered. Insanely crispy, very hot, not chewy or fatty, was spiceyer than expected,but I wouldn’t call it hot or too hot by any stretch. It’s about an hour and a half from where I live and I’m already thinking of another reason to come up this way.

Cute space. The food was good. The customer service was decent. They took awhile to bring my California rolls. I was almost done my dinner when they arrived. They also didn’t bring any soy sauce to the table until requested. Overall though, it was a good experience. I enjoyed my soup. I just wished the vegetables were cut a little smaller for better consumption in a soup.

Such a great experience! Me and husband never been and was cautious trying a new sushi spot.. but when we walked in, the restaurant greeted us with polite faces & beautiful lighting. Lidia, our server was so sweet & kind! She helped me with figuring out what kind of adult beverage I wanted and even brought me an extra menu that explained more about each drink! She was so sweet & funny, she even complemented my husband and I! Sushi was outstanding, very fresh & flavorful! The whole aesthetic in the restaurant & vibe is just wonderful! It doesn’t take much to please my husband and I, but this place went above and beyond for us being 1st time customers, we will definitely be coming back! Keep up the fantastic work! ☺️

This is easily the best Asian cuisine in Delaware. If you have been searching for fried rice….. Yeah this is the place, it’s not that yellow “fried” rice. Will be back for sushi next time. 10/10
