We used to really like coming here, but sadly today was our last time coming. One of your former employees was incredibly welcoming and even offered us a sample of the tinga pizza, which we ended up loving so much. Because of that experience, this quickly became one of our favorite dine-in spots.
Unfortunately, since he left, the service has consistently gone downhill. The food is still good, that’s the only reason we kept coming back, but the service has made each visit more disappointing than the last.
Every time we dine in, we are left waiting far too long just to be acknowledged. It takes forever to receive menus, drinks, utensils, or even a simple greeting. On multiple occasions, especially with your woman servers, we’ve felt completely ignored while watching other guests be welcomed, attended to promptly, and even apologized to for minor waits.
We stopped coming for a while, but decided to give it another chance because we truly enjoy the food. Sadly, today was the last straw. After being handed menus, we were ignored for over more than 15 minutes. Your server didn’t come to take our order, offer drinks, or check in. We eventually had to go to the counter ourselves to place the order. There was no apology, no acknowledgment… nothing. Meanwhile, we watched the same server warmly attend to other tables who arrived after us, offer them drinks, and even apologize for their short wait.
When she finally addressed us 10–15 minutes later, it was with a snarky tone saying “I’ll be right with you after these guys to take your order” while pointing to a table that had just sat down. Like really? After refusing to even look at us for more than half an hour? In total, we waited about 45–50 minutes for our food. We were seconds away from deciding to just leave when she finally brought our food out.
We always come in respectfully and ready to support your business. It’s disheartening to feel like we are not worth the time or basic courtesy of being acknowledged. It’s even harder to explain to our kids, who love the food and always ask to come back, why we no longer feel welcome here.
We truly wish you the best, but respect should go both ways. Good food brings people in, but good service is what keeps them coming back.

We love this place. Vodka pie is the go to, and if we’re feeling frisky, we have them throw some chicken on it. My daughter loved the meatballs with vodka sauce. They gave us a free garlic bread with the meatballs and that was delicious as well. Highly recommend Pizzaioli for some good grub!

Was coming into Staten Island from New Jersey and was not familiar with where to get good pizza in the area. Randomly pulled into this strip mall and hit up pizzaioli. The grandma slice was delicious! The woman that greeted me was warm and friendly. I’ll be back my next trip to Staten Island!

Okay so i ordered the pizzaioli special hero. Yesterday was the first time ordering it. I LOVED IT. very filling and packed with ingredients which made me not think twice about purchasing the $17+ hero again today. Oh how disappointing… if the quality of the hero is going to vary like this it’s not worth purchasing. Very very disappointed.

Pretty decent pizza and in a nice location. I would definitely recommend swinging by for a pie or even just grabbing a few slices to go.

The restaurant was simply amazing. The food and it’s presentation was incredibly artistic. Many choices on the menu and no one in our family was disappointed. One meal after another, I was taken back on how good they were. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and.we will certainly be back. Thank you for a great meal.

I stopped by Pizzaioli of Staten Island and had their pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly baked, the cheese was fresh and gooey, and the toppings were full of flavor. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Definitely one of the best spots in Staten Island for pizza, I will be coming back for more.
