I used the DoorDash delivery option & the portions were AMAZING! If you’ve ordered delivery before, you KNOW the food is usually cold & portions are tiny . BUT not The Fresh Market Diner! The food was hot, fresh, delicious, portions HUGE, & prices are affordable! Ate inside a few weeks ago – staff is pleasant, just like the food! This little diner, only 3-4 tables, is in the produce market and although it supports the tenants and truckers, it is open to the public, it was hard to find but so worth the trip. Best omelette I’ve had in years!

I tried Market Fresh Diner today it is definitely fresh and tasty, very clean in there. owner’s are very nice. I had the devil crab (very fresh) and philly steak omelet meal (lots of food), both very good. I saw the desserts sitting there, which looked very tasty. Oatmeal raisin cookies are my favorite so I had to try one. OMG, what a wonderful decision, the best I’ve ever had.

What a quaint little diner bursting with big flavor! Stopped in with my daughter and daughter-in-law for a deviled crab that everyone raves about and they were delicious. We also had a Cuban sandwich and the chicken stew special and they were also great and reasonably priced. This place was a great find and definitely did not disappoint!

If you find yourself in East Tampa in the wee hours and you want to hit a greasy spoon, this is the place. There are the usual diner standbys like burgers, Tampa standbys like Cubans and devil crabs, and breakfast standards. The food is really good and the prices are good too.
It’s a little hard to find, even if you see the sign on the street. It’s in the main Produce Market building. You have to go through the gate and then go left. There will be a lot of trucks parked and moving around blocking your view. Look for a conspicuous gap in the line of backed-in trucks towards the east side of the building. There is a trailer with a sign on it pointing toward the door. You will have to climb some stairs.

This is probably the most special review I could ever make because I’m making it for my very own sister, Rose, who just opened her own restaurant. She has brought into her restaurant our heritage of our family traditions and the loving meals we had around our table through all the years. Not only is she staying true to our traditions but she’s put her own special touch on them that has made them now famous in Tampa. Her daily specials are to die for!! A must try

After reading all the good reviews I wanted to really like this place, but unfortunately we didnt. The husband and I order about 3:30 this morning through door dash. A pressed cuban for his lunch today at work and 2 breakfast sandwiches for him and I. The lettuce and tomatoes on the cuban was old and soggy… So it made the bread soggy also. There was barely any meat on it. I don’t mind paying the price, I just want quality. The eggs in the breakfast sandwiches was way over cooked and the bacon had a burnt taste. I really don’t care to leave negative reviews…but I had to be honest. But I will give them another try. And Lisa G is the name.
