Lunch with my sister
Had lunch before departing from Havana (3persons). First time in this place, the staff provided excellent service, to be honest no complaints. The food was excellent and tasty. Worth going there I really enjoyed.
Les recomiendo las croquetas!!! And please don’t forget to try those super good mojitos @perfect touch of alcohol, the best mojito in Havana!

I seldom give 5 stars, but if I could I would give Mimosa 5.5 stars. We had a bit of a wait to enter owing to their deserved popularity. But the wait was worth it. Upon entering you felt immediately valued for your patronage. Every waiter, server, barista, greeted you with warm, inviting smiles. Upon being seated you felt Immediately at home in your area of the restaurant. The ambiance was cozy and the service excellent. Waiters moved through the restaurant with precision and purpose but you never felt a sense of hurry around you.
Our personal experience was with.our server Hamlet. He was at once, elegant, professional and with a charming sense of humor. His attention to detail impeccable. He knew his business and the offerings of the restaurant and help the indecisive to land on a decision. His offer of service was ever present, but you never felt that it was over bearing.
The food was delicious, well presented and plentiful. Our only complaint is a compliment. We had no idea of the quantity and unknowingly ordered too much. But happily, we are looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow.
Thank you Mimosa and Hamlet for a superlative experience! The next time we are in Havana we will return!

We loved our dinner here while on vacation in Cuba. A real gem in the middle of Centro Habana which is a little bit chaotic. The food was excellent and portions colossal. We were there early and by the time we left a large queue had formed.

Plain and simple: it just doesn’t worth the wait to try. About 2 hours outside (1 hour 56min) waiting for our turn. Group of 4 entered before us out of turn while we wait outside and at the end they sat us on a table for 4 as well. Tables were arranged so close as if we sat on a table next to us and part of same group. Then 32 min wait just so someone take our order while people enter the restaurant 20/25min after us already had their order taken. ( apparently each server has set of table and they don’t know how to arrange it so they take orders base on arrival) . Here comes the food about 30 min later (3 hours in total wait)… pizza: looks good but it was uncooked with lots of sauce , shrimp order was really generous but not tasty (actually it tase kind of bad ) and arroz pilaf was white dry rice no butter or any thing else, complaint given for arroz and were told: it is what it is. Desert: cheese cake: ok I have no idea what kind of chesse they use but that was not cheese cake! Worst even for cuba! We were ok with all this but then it started, stomach ache for my partner and feeling to vomit for me, we paid and pack to our place crying the whole night for stomach ache, vomiting and … . Not sure what was bad, cheese cake perhaps? But never again at here, this is not what it used too be, simply lots of places now in havana offering better food and pizza ! Sure the portion are generous but doesn’t worth the wait. Even if I didn’t have a food poison still wont return here. If you want to try it, order for take out or delivery, not worth the wait. None of time in this review is exaggerated!

The service is one of the best out of all the restaurants I’ve tried in the island. Really, good attention and service. Food, even when is an Italian restaurant, is very cubanish stylized. Lot of options in well served portions.
PRO TIP: Lines are huge and there’s barely space where to sit so be ready to wait for an hour or more to be seated.
