Great beer tavern. Big, open seating. Good sized bar. Many taps and many more great cans and bottles.
Cool, pleasant vibe. Not loud during our visit.
One beer tender so lines formed but moved quickly.
Put this one on your beer stop list..

Love this cozy spot with beers on tap and more can beers than any other place I’ve been to. Huge selection of IPAs, which I love. Great indoor and outdoor seating.

This is one of the best beer bars and bottle shops in Portland Metro. Run don’t walk. There is a food cart nearby but no food in the place.

What should have been a laid-back experience turned into one of the most uncomfortable, poorly managed outings I’ve ever had. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, the service non existent, like you’re inconveniencing them for being there and it was clear that customer experience is not a priority here at all.
Josh is extremely rude, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful – which is shocking for a place that depends on repeat customers.
There are plenty of tap houses that value their patrons, create a friendly environment, and actually want people to come back. This is absolutely not one of them. Save your time, money, and energy – go literally anywhere else!

We’ve made Uptown a regular stop. Friendly environment, dogs are welcome and there’s a great selection on tap and in the coolers. Plenty to choose from, and having Midcity Smashburger on property doesn’t hurt. Fun stop.

Our pub, watering hole, neighborhood spot.
Love a mid-week, after-work hang-out at Uptown. Or Friday night.
Mug Club members. Owners of many Uptown T-shirts.
Great patio when it’s warm. Cozy inside during the cold months.
Wonderful people behind the bar who recognize you.
Smash Burger food truck: crinkle-cut (crack) fries.
Would love to see some veggie menu options: roasted Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, sweet potatoes? With Smashy sauce—nice! Nothing too crazy.

Great selection of cans and bottles along with 20+ taps and brewing their own beer as well. They have a display of staff suggestions, which was the most help I got. I asked for suggestions and just got a blank stare and he mumbled “there’s just too many” nice place, enjoyed a couple taps and grabbed a six pack to go.

This is a nice taproom and bottle shop. They have roughly 30 beers on tap and a huge bottle selection to go. Binary Brewing used to share this space but now they have their own place on Broadway in downtown Beaverton.
Enjoying 2 Smashy Bois from Mid City Smashburger and a Keegan’s Dry Irish Stout by Three Mugs out of Hillsboro. So glad that Mid City Smashburger has a cart next to Uptown Beer Co. now. I also had CULMINATION Hay Fever Fresh Hop Wheat Beer & BINARY Motherboard Milk Stout.

You can’t have kids inside and it was freezing outside. None of the fires were lit. We should have done non-binary because kids can be inside. We love the smash burgers. Just wish they would have the heaters on

Friendly, comfortable and well stocked. This place has lots of good beer to choose from and info on them. The food is a little iffy however I only ate there once.
