A Fatburger opened up in Rancho Cordova on Sunrise Blvd. It just opened in early August 2025. But get this, it opened up in the current Round Table. It’s the first ever combination franchise in California. So if you’re hankering for good ole American comfort food but quite can’t make up your mind between pizza, chicken wings, salad bar, burger (hamburger, impossible, turkey), fries, onion rings, and milkshakes (dairy and vegan versions). Don’t fret, you can have it all at this Fatburger. The customer service was outstanding. My Fatburger and onion rings were delicious.
The Fatburger hamburger ($8.99)patty was seasoned nicely giving it a nice favor. I opted for all the fixings. The bun was soft and fresh tasting, better yet it didn’t disintegrate. It kept its shape all the way to the last bite. The onion rings ($5.50) were made from sweet onions. Mmm. So delish with its crispy crunchy fried coating and sweet onion flavor. I was toying with getting a vegan milkshake, it was $9.99 while the non vegan version was $7.99. With my calorie count adding up, I opted to pass on the shake this time.
The dining room had a modern look and feel. It had booth and table seating with a couple of TVs showing different channels. And warning all parents, they have a mini arcade in the back. The kiddos will def throw a tantrum over that. Another thing to note is the place had no windows, so all the claustrophobics out there take note. The location is in an older shopping center that has seen better days. I’m old enough to remember those better days. I dined here around 7pm on a weekday and experienced no issues.

Fat Burger in Rancho Cordova on Sunrise Blvd. Location has good parking. Excellent customer service. You have a choice of pizzas or burgers. I ordered the regular Fat Burger with Fat fries to go. Excellent Burger and fries. Great place to eat in or carry out. They have a XXXL Fat Burger challenge which would be fun to watch. I received a coupon for free fries on a future visit. (The fries are great!) When u are craving a good burger/fries and/or pizza this is the place. Other than the Fat Burger place at Thunder Valley, this is the only other Fat Burger place in the sacramento area. Definitely worth the trip!

ok so we were just here yesterday and yes, we came back today!! and again! same great service, friendly staff and yummy burgers… yesterday had a King chili cheeseburger, today a western burger and below is an XXL with bacon,egg and cheese… not to mention the fries perfectly balanced with crisp and softness… shout out to Omiia and Gary… cooks too

Perfect for lots of situations. With the game coming up, I highly recommended this restaurant because I have not ever been disappointed. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and the selection is excellent for several palates. THE STAFF ARE AWESOME! I enjoy coming here every time!!

I consider myself to be a hamburgitarian. If you want a big burger that tastes good you get what you pay for. This place absolutely delivered. Very rarely I get full when I eat a hamburger I got the double with cheese I was struggling to finish it it was so damn good. You will not be disappointed in the food.

We stopped in for the grand opening and got our free burgers, also ordered some fries, milkshake and a pizza which was good. The chocolate chip cookies are the best! They were so fresh and soft! Burgers and fries were yummy! Everybody was very nice and my daughter even got a balloon animal.

My husband and I finally got to try the brand-new Fatburger in Rancho and let me tell you… it was worth the one year wait! The space is totally remodeled, bright, spotless, and super inviting.
Now, I’ve been a die-hard Thunder Valley Fatburger fan for years, swearing nothing could top it… but this new Rancho spot? Omg. Legit next-level. The burgers were everything, juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection, and you can taste that they don’t cut corners. It’s comfort food at its finest.
The staff? Absolute gems. So warm, so sweet, and hustling with a smile. Little things like that make the whole experience so much better. Case in point: I ordered a personal pizza, but they accidentally brought me a small one. Instead of shrugging it off, they insisted on also making me the personal pizza I originally asked for. Who does that anymore? It was such a thoughtful touch, and honestly, both pizzas were delicious.
Rancho finally has a Fatburger, and I couldn’t be more excited! Let’s show them some love so they stick around for a long, long time. Because trust me, you’re gonna want this spot in your foodie rotation.
