Update: Was in the OTR for a business meeting and decided to stop by Bee’s for a late lunch. Sadly, the ribs were not yet ready, so I was unable to get them yet again, but I wasn’t too sad about it becuaee everything else was plenty delicious. My previous review said I could do without the sasuage, but I have to change that. Previously, I tried the Cincinnati sausage, but this time I got the Lockhart sasuage and man was it super tasty. I also tried the blue cheese, even though I’m not a sauce with wings kind of guy, and it is very good, but unqiue. It’s much more creamy than traditional blue cheese, but in a good way. Had the brisket, turkey, wings, and sidewinder fries and have nothing negative to say about any of it. Do yourself a favor and try Bee’s.
As a TX/OK transplant (and amateur pitmaster), I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of BBQ I can find in Cincy, and Bee’s competes for my top spot.
Their brisket (which is not easy to find around here) is very fatty (in a good way) and tender, with great bark. Their wings are outstanding. If you like smoked, yet also crispy wings, then these are for you. I love smoked turkey, and while Bee’s is not the top turkey in town, it is very darn close. Their sidewinder fries are unusual yet make a fantastic complement to the wings or rib tips. I could take or leave the sausage, and I have not tried the pulled pork (wife said it was very good). We do not usually get sides when we eat BBQ, but my wife loved the cornbread. I tried the beans, and while they may be great to some, they aren’t my style (I like the thick brown sugary baked beans), so I won’t be getting them again.
I would highly recommend Bee’s to anyone looking for good Texas style BBQ, especially if you are looking to eat at the restaurant.
Note: if you are gluten free, just make sure to ask for no white bread on your platter. While the meats (and fries) are GF, one time they put the bread under my brisket, and that resulted in some cross-contamination. Easy fix moving forward, though.

In from out of town to catch a game, the atmosphere is very chill. The brisket sold out just after we arrived, but the brisket cheesesteak . The wings and the cornbread definitely a go to stop

The brisket fell apart from only my fork and was delicious. The turkey breast was to die for! The rest pictured was my parents. Sorry for the bites taken… we couldn’t resist! I highly recommend everything! I also got the blackberry thorn mocktail and chefs kiss

I had a half rack of ribs, their Mac and cheese, and the collard greens, as well as the OTR lemonade cocktail. I can’t say enough about the ribs. They had a nice crust and great smoky flavor. The barbecue sauce they have was a bit too acidic for me but the taste wasn’t bad overall. The Mac and cheese is crazy. I wish I had a pan of it to take home. We also had some chips and queso that could easily become my new addiction. I had a few of their corkscrew shaped fries and I instantly regretted not getting a side of those as well. I literally ordered 2 of the OTR lemonade drinks because they were crazy good. If I could take that drink home I would. The service was great. It’s bar service so you order at the bar when you’re ready which is very convenient. You can tell the staff really enjoy each other. The turnaround time for food was really fast but the taste was like it took days to prepare. Definitely will be returning!

We had an amazing experience at Bee’s Barbecue in OTR! Even though there was a mix-up and our order didn’t get entered at first, the staff handled it with such professionalism and kindness. They quickly fixed the issue, took care of our entire meal, and even surprised us with cookies. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly smoked, full of flavor, and worth every bite. The service was above and beyond, and it’s clear they truly care about their customers. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Just phenomenal. We were craving BBQ and noticed the 4.9 star rating, so we had to check this place out. Well deserved rating. The Philly Brisket was a perfect combination of flavors, and the Mac & Cheese is exactly what you expect from a good BBQ joint. The Bee Sting was also very good, but I’m not sure anything can top that Brisket Philly. It’s definitely worth the stop if you’re in the OTR area.

Let’s just start off by day they’re in the back using God’s smoker,! My experience for this restaurant is top tier! Usually when I go to BBQ places, this is good but that’s dry or that’s good but this has to much sauce or the sides are good but the meat is trash. Literally everything is good here! I had the brisket cheese steak, the wings a couple slices of brisket, greens and macaroni. The brisket on the sandwich and by itself was very tender and the chicken was so smokey! The first time I’ve had meat that doesn’t need sauce. The Greens taste like your mother’s home cooked or southern style. The Mac was good as well very moist but not to much cheese or salt like most places and it complimented the BBQ very well! It’s unfortunate I have to leave this review because I want it all to myself but they definitely deserve it! God bless BEE’S BBW

I absolutely adored my experience here!
The food was amazing, and definitely some of the best barbecue you can have in Cincy (and Ohio for that fact)!
I had the pulled pork, brisket, Hot Cincinnati Sausage, alongside their Sidewinder Fries, Cornbread, Creamy Mac & Cheese and the BBQ Beans.
When I tell you everything was ammmazing, I mean it. I think my favorite was the Brisket as it tore very easily, but had all the flavor bursting in your mouth. Special shoutout to the BBQ Beans for being even more flavorful than the meats.
Moreover, the environment is welcoming and has a distinct sense of community about it. From the interior decor, to the pleasantries of the staff, the entire establishment is top of the line in all regards.
If you’re looking for a barbecue fix, you shouldn’t sleep on Bee’s Barbecue.

Food was the worst! This was our first stop for drinks and dinner when we arrived in town and we were disappointed. The rib tips were hard and dry. The pulled pork honestly needed more flavor and to not be served already on the bread as it was mush by the time it arrived. The baked beans needed a warning as it tastes like its a cross between chili and baked beans with meat chunks, tomatoes, onions, seasoning and 3 or more different beans. The Mac and cheese is definitely different as it reminds me of a Velveeta type with very few crumbs and extremely salty. Best thing on the plate was the greens until you got to the bottom of the serving.
