Whether you’re craving tender ribs, juicy pulled pork, or our legendary brisket, we serve up bold, authentic BBQ in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. Let me tell you how I really feel.. I’ve been traveling moved from Texas to California and I vacation at Utah. I’ve been trying to find GOOD BBQ for awhile … boyyy I tell you this is some good sweet meat. Wonderful people fall off the bone ribs tasty good fatty brisket I’m in HEAVEN GOOD MAC AND CHEESE Cole slaw mm! Come here for good food and hospitality they really are so amazing. And ofc my dog gets the delicious scraps

We feel like we found a gem! The food was fantastic. The chicken tacos were incredible, our teenage boys split the tachos and loved them. The owners treated us like family. We will definitely come back every time we drive past. Oh! And everything was sparkling clean!

Tucked less than a half mile off I-15, exit 78 in Parowan, High Voltage BBQ is an unexpected gem I would’ve missed entirely if not for my son’s recommendation. This AC/DC-themed spot delivers top-tier barbecue in a relaxed, rock-inspired setting. While they don’t serve beef ribs, their pork ribs are nothing short of extraordinary—fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor.
A variety of 4 to 5 barbecue sauces are readily available at the table, along with a generous supply of paper towels for the inevitable mess. My wife ordered the brisket sandwich, which was every bit as satisfying as hoped. The staff were warm and attentive, and the restrooms were impressively clean.
The owner made a point to stop by our table, offering a few samples and chatting with us—an appreciated personal touch. Whether you’re taking a break from the road or grabbing food to go, don’t pass this place by. As someone who loves BBQ and smokes meat at home, I can confidently say this spot is worth the detour.

Coming from Texas and Louisiana its hard to find what I consider good or even passable BBQ but this place beats out just about everything I’ve ever had. The brisket is tender and juicy, the pork and ribs are the most tender, melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned meat you’ll ever eat. By far there isn’t anything better in Utah or West of Texas for that matter.

OMG!!!! This is THE place to get BBQ. I was absolutely blown away with how perfectly cooked and flavored the brisket is
Tender and juicy without being soggy and greasy like other places. The char is freakin perfect and crisp without that burnt flavor you tend to get. Literally phenomenal food with epic portions and the sweetest staff. The atmosphere is fun and edgy and super clean. We will definitely be back soon and sharing the love with all of our friends and family.

WARNING! If you are over settling for discouraging dining out options, and give these folks a try, YOU WILL GET HOOKED.
Seriously, the best BBQ you will find in Southern Utah. Here’s why: they perfected their craft for eight years before opening this brick-and-mortar location a little over a year ago.
We were passing through town and discovered them after seeing five-star reviews on Google Maps. We tried them, and now we wish we lived much closer.
We will schedule our future drives through Parowan to arrive when they open for lunch.
My wife tried the brisket with a side of coleslaw, and it got her approval.
I had the brisket salad, you know—trying to enjoy good things with less regret—and it was the best brisket salad I’ve ever had. I modified it to hold peppers, tortilla strips, and cheese, then used their High Voltage BBQ as my dressing.
I will now have dreams and fond memories of how good it was.
The staff is super friendly, too.
Trust us, this place is a keeper.
One thing I wish they had on the menu…Beef Ribs. Adding beef ribs is the only thing that would elevate the high-voltage quality.
UPDATE:
They will soon have Coke fountain drinks in place, which will help them avoid running out any longer — the other vendor was subpar.
Our favorite side is their mac n cheese.
The order of our favorites for their BBQ sauce options is:

Seriously the best BBQ in Utah. What a gem! We had 1/2 rack of ribs, 1/2lb of brisket, slaw, beans, and mac n’ cheese. Nothing disappointed. We tried all of their sauces too even though it wasn’t needed. The apple jalapeno was our favorite. The restaurant was kept cool in the 90 degree weather as well. This will definitely be a must visit every time we go to Brian Head. If you’re going to BH, call ahead & pick it up. We will!!!
