Great restaurant in west linn area! Found this restaurant on openTable app and glad I tried it. We got the crab cakes that were delicious! The soft crab meat and remoulade. Australian rack of lamb was one of the best lambs we have had. A popular dish here seemed to be Panko and herb crusted Mahi Mahi. Liked the sauce chasseur with bacon and fish was amazing as well. Service was good as well. Reservation recommended as the restaurant was very busy.

First time at Avanti tonight. First, the service was outstanding. Casual yet highly professional. She knew what I wanted before I knew it. Ans the food? Daaaaammmmnnnnnn. The braised ribs (7 hour braise!) with burgundy sauce fell apart when I barely nudged it. Phenomenally delish dish. Coffee was also very tasty and refilled before I asked, as well as the real cream, which is rare. Relaxed atmosphere, dim lighting and just right music… Can’t go wrong here. Everything is just right.

Man, the food here is Awesome! The Pork Chop is truly amazing, brought my world traveling pilot friend, he said it was the best pork chop he ever tasted. That’s what I thought too. The flat iron steak was just as excellent, as was the fish. You just can’t go wrong with the food here.

My husband & I wanted to try a new place for date night & came across Avanti. We were not disappointed. Loved sitting at the corner of the bar to people watch & be in our own little space. It gets busy after 5 if you need a table, most people had reservations. The bartender was lovely, had great suggestions & made us our very first espresso martini… life changing. The food was delicious & they even did a custom menu change for the dish I wanted. We will be back when we need another date night.

What a great surprise! In the corner of a strip mall just off the 205 sits an absolute gem! It’s well decorated and quiet despite being full of customers. Every dish our party of four ate was a unanimous thumbs up. We were seated immediately upon arriving for our reservation. Service was personal, professional, and welcoming.
Standouts included the ample cheese plate, the chanterelle and truffle soup, and all our entrees. The Mahi Mahi was cooked perfectly, seated on a bed of yummy rice, and a sauce with a pleasant sour flavor, perfectly balancing with the sweet fish and asparagus. Shrimp scampi was very tasty, with just the right amount of heat. The bouillabaisse was luscious and perfectly cooked. Arrive early for this; it sells out. Portions were generous, but not overly gigantic. Just right.
I definitely want to come back and try some more gourmet fare here!!

My wife and I made a xmas/birthday trip from Seattle to Oregon. After significant research, we reserved a table at Avanti in West Linn. We could not have been happier. She had the scallops and pasta. It was so delicious she thought she was in Italy. I had the 3 day brined pork chop. Hands down my favorite meal. Incredible! The wi ne selection was also fabulous. In addition the service was spectacular and added to the ambiance of the dinner. This dinner was a true celebration. I cannot wait for a return trip to bring friends. Avanti receives my highest endorsememt.
