Very delicious! If your looking to get ice cream or a salty, spicy snack ……. Here’s the place . They have several options, and me and husband went with DoriLocos , which is Doritos loaded with fruit and hot sauce and sour cream and peanuts. My husband got a mangonada , which has mango fruit and chamoy this sweet and spicy glaze , with a Tamarindo candy stick . Overall customer service was pretty helpful and they take cash and card . There are a few booths to actually dine in to eat . We spent about 20$ for both of us . It is a bit difficult to find parking because it’s connected to a small plaza center with a few stores beside it and a taco place literally next door. Overall the parking lot is pretty busy and hard to find parking on weekends. If you have never tried a place like this out I honestly recommend it, you will be satisfied.

I normally order a banana split from this place. I normally get three different kinds of scoops in it. This past time I went I wasn’t very happy with their service. Until recently I thought this place had the best banana splits. However, the last time I ordered they wouldn’t add three flavors, according to my son. My son is the one who goes inside and orders the banana split for me. I’m not sure if I will be returning. I also don’t like how they don’t split up the product prices on the receipt so I cannot tell how much the banana split is. My son is special needs, so he doesn’t pay attention to the price of each item. When I send him back in for the receipt he is told they sent it to his phone, but it only shows the total price of everything.

This place holds the best authentic delicacies in town! My favorite is the fresas con crema (Strawberries w/ cream) and the mango loco, which is a mango fruit cocktail with peanuts and a couple of Mexican chili sauce like chamoy or Valentina. They offer a variety of ice cream flavor options as well as other flavorful snacking goodies. I come here every chance I’m on this side of town!

Found this place by accident while riding around town. Windows are tinted so you can’t see inside from the parking lot. It’s a decent size with plenty of seating, both booths and tables. They have an abundance off scoop ice cream flavors as well as homemade ice cream bars. I love the variety of exotic fruit flavors. They have traditional banana boats as well as Mexican specialties like Mangonada, a cup filled with mango, jicama, cucumber, Spanish nuts, spices and a tamarindo stick. Only reason I do not give this 5 stars is because it is CASH ONLY and it’s easy to miss the small sign inside stating it.

I have been here 2 times and both times they said they couldn’t give me what I wanted because they were already going to close and they still had like almost 25 minutes left before they even closed and the other time they even had the door locked when they still had 20 minutes left. I don’t understand why they say they close at 8:30 and close almost 30 minutes before the actual time.

There is not a better priced ice cream shop that I’ve found in the Triad. I’m blessed to live only a couple of miles away. The portions and sizes of everything are ridiculously generous. My horchata was phenomenal. We’ve been there a couple of times before and they never ever disappoint.

Give them a shot!!

Editing my review because they are no longer cash only and I saw that as a concern in multiple reviews previously!

Is it just me or is this place closing sooner and sooner. They used to close at 9pm and so it’s understandable the they close at 8:30pm; but uhm it’s 8:15pm, with a few clients outside while there’s two guys inside cleaning up…and they won’t open since they are closed for today. This seems to be their usual now. I wonder if their boss is aware.

My visit to La Sirenita was beyond terrible. The service was rude, and the waitstaff seemed annoyed by simple requests. The food was a complete letdown—my ice cream had a hair in it, which was absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, the ice cream shop was filthy. I spotted cockroaches scurrying across the floor, and the tables were sticky and unclean. Adding to the already awful experience, there were homeless people lingering outside, making the atmosphere feel unsafe and uncomfortable. This place is a health hazard, and I strongly advise avoiding it.

The first time I went with my Mexican friend, the experience was amazing. It felt like I was at a Caribbean Ice Cream shop because they had all the tropical flavors. The second time I took my sister, and when we asked to sample the flavors, the woman serving us said they don’t do samples. After ordering, we realized there were sample spoons throughout the store. We asked why they weren’t doing samples, and the lady said I don’t know and rudely walked away. I’m curious to know if the business is consistently not giving samples or if they pick and choose who samples are given to.

Great experience. Great staff. Other customers didn’t seem to enjoy the presence of an individual like me but IDC. Lol. I’m still coming back. More Love, Less Hate!!
