Great pizza, bring a sweater, and a small parking lot. A hotspot for takeout, it wasn’t very busy on Thursday night.

The breadsticks were amazing; the sauce with them is worth keeping. They were kind of crunchy on the outside and thinner than an Olive Garden stick, but still soft inside. Seriously, I could just eat these. We got a classic Chicago style, my first, and it was really, really good—a thinner, crisp bottom and a ton of filling. I can usually eat three slices of regular pizza no problem; here, I got through a slice and a half. It was awesome, and the price is worth the food load. Service was great, the place was cold, and there are no booths for booth lovers. Will totally go back and plan to. ❤️

Our server was amazing and recommended the wings. The pizza was one of the best I have had in a long time. The loaded waffle fires were cooked just right. Their breads sticks were crispy and soft. If you truly want a deep dish pizza Nancy’s is the place to go.

We saw a billboard on the side of the road and decided to try it out. We have always loved a Chicago deep dish pizza and finding one as we drove through Georgia seemed like something we needed to try. The pizza was excellent. It took about 30 minutes to cook but was worth the wait. The only con: The bathrooms are a bit tired and the floors could use a good scrub

I had a thin crust pizza with pepperoni, sausage and green peppers. The green peppers over powered the pizzas’ flavor. My wings were flavored with buffalo and lemon pepper…delicious. My wife had a salad.

So I’ve heard decent things about Nancy’s and as a Chicago pizza lover I knew I had to finally check it out before my Chicago trip next week.

I arrived and thought they were closed, no cars in the parking lot but maybe 1 or 2 in front of the other business.

We go inside and there’s no a single customer inside but us. We’re greeted and seated, and our order is taken.
Super simple order. Thin 10in cheese. Extra this 14in pepperoni. No mods no special
Request. After about 30 mins I’m starting to get upset because there’s no one else there and they aren’t sending food out Togo so why are 2 thin pizzas taking so long?!?!

At a point I’m ready to go so I ask her “ where’s the food? This is crazy all this time for 2 thin pies”
She reply’s “they are coming up. “

Sure but how long?! Anyway they come out about 4 mins later and she tells us the kids 10in cheese is now a meatball because she “messed up ringing it In”
The reality is they were messing around and forgot to make it and it was probably an employees or some mess up from earlier and they tried to play it off as a mistake instead of actually making what we ordered.

She offered to make a cheese which if that was the case should have just been done from the start. But I also wasn’t about to wait another 30+ mins for a thin 10in pie for the kids so we unfortunately settled for the wrong pie.

Sure she was cheery and friendly which is great but cheery and getting the order wrong is not. The cheer has little appeal at that point.

And I have to say for $20-$30 a plan pie there’s no excuse for 1 the time it took in a completely empty restaurant and to mess it up. Which is even worse. You weren’t weeded or busy enough to be messing up orders.

As for the space. It’s a decent size, and has multiple tvs. Would have been nice if instead of leaning in the counters and playing on their phones maybe they could have turned the volume up on the cartoons for the kids while we waited all that time.

The city of Chicago is passionate about food and positive dinning experiences and Nancy’s didn’t deliver that today. Was I didn’t get the experience others claimed to receive

We went for a late lunch. There was a lot of seating available. We were promptly seated. Our waitress was helpful and made some menu suggestions. We followed her recommendations. For our appetizer we ordered the Parmesan Pesto Waffle Fries. The waffle fries come loaded down with pesto aioli, fresh parmesan, balsamic glaze, and basil. To be honest, this might be the best appetizer I have ever had!! Absolutely delicious! Needless to say the plate of fries was demolished as verified in the attached picture! For our entree we ordered the 12″ Large Stuffed Greatest Hits (Uncle Tony’s) pizza. It is a 2 1/2″ high pizza with two layers of crust stuffed with a healthy layering of cheese, spiced sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, and onions. When this pizza comes to your table it is an awe inspiring sight. It is truly a foodies jaw dropping moment! As far as taste, it was delicious!! It was everything I always wanted a pizza to be! Nancy’s is a great dining experience and we will be back!!

I go by Douglasville about once every 6 weeks or so. I have been eyeing this place for a while since seeing it on a billboard on I-20, but normally meet with friends in Atlanta for dinner when I am up that way. Tonight, I had no plans and decided to pop in and try their stuffed pizza (Chicago Style Deep Dish). I ordered a large (because we need leftovers) and this pizza did not disappoint. The cheese pull was epic; Nancy’s could have used it for advertising. The pie was hot, fresh, and absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. My waitress was extremely friendly (despite being one of 2 working on a busy Friday night). The owner came over to speak with me and keep me company since I was dining solo. I will definitely be back. If you are in the area, I highly recommended this one!

Place was dead, like 1 other table and 2 people at the bar. Ordered ahead if you can, took about 35 minutes to receive pizza, seemed like it should have been cooked longer.

We love this place!!! Every time I call or we come in for service, the order is right and the food is delicious!!! They have great staff, from the owners down to the servers… Deep dish pizza takes a while but that’s gives us a chance to try appetizers and their wonderful salads. A few minutes of great convo, then the pizza is on the table. So fresh and hot out the oven. We order every weekend!!!

Excellent pizza! I know deep dish is controversial but this is high quality food. To me pep dish is more of a pizza casserole because it’s difficult to eat so as long as you look at it like that, you won’t be disappointed. This location was very good and the salad was very good. Highly recommend!
