At Johnny’s Pockets, we are passionate about creating delicious food using only the freshest ingredients. Our journey began in a small kitchen in the Baker street market in West Roxbury, MA back in 2020 where Johnny first introduced his delicious homemade pockets and started creating his signature items. Unfortunately, due to the events of that time, Johnny’s Pockets had to close his doors. Fast-forward to 2023, Johnny was looking for the perfect place to reopen his kitchen, and couldn’t of found a better location. After months of looking, he found a corner shop right in the heart of Oakdale Square in Dedham MA. Now, in a bigger space he looks forward to serving you and satisfying your cravings!

This place is awesome! The chicken parm calzone is so good! I ask for extra marinara and the Parmesan cheese baked on top of the calzone is a game changer. I always know everything is fresh and made right there! And with Johnnys suggestion, I always get feta on my chicken parm, as Johnny says, “everything is bettah with feta”!!

My food was delivered quick and it was hot. It was so tasty. Love this place. You have to try the Greek salad; it was fresh and crisp and oh so delicious. The Greek dressing was so good. Had the Al Forno salad for lunch today and it was so delicious. Everything was fresh, and it even came with a freshly made pita pocket which was huge! This place has definitely become a staple for us – boyfriend loves their steak tip bomb in the pocket as well as their pizzas and calzones.

Loved it! We stopped on a whim and had the absolute best experience! The staff and owner are beyond amazing and super sweet. We just got pizza and fries cause we were with the kids but I can’t wait to stop back and get one of those amazing looking pockets. I watched a few be assembled and they looked absolutely delicious. The pizza was great and the French fries were super crispy. We all enjoyed it very much so and we’ll be back again soon. Thanks to Johnny & the crew!!
