I honestly have not been to Morrison’s since they moved locations. But I have to say they do give you very heavy portions. So for the first plate I had Cajun Chicken, Mac & Sweet Potatoes. The Mac and Chicken were good, the sweet potatoes for me are too thick, they look like orange blocks. The taste of the juice was good. Then I got a side of greens and dressing. To me the greens were not seasoned and they definitely were not tender. The dressing was good, it just had to much garlic. The other plate that was bought was Smothered Pork Chops, & Mac hands down it was really good. Well definitely go again

It “looks” delicious. Don’t try to come here on your lunch though because they HIGHLY prioritize their DoorDash/delivery pickups over walk-ins. Since they don’t have it ready to pick up I ended up leaving after watching them make about 5 orders for there DoorDash people with me just standing around.
I would have preferred if more equal attention was given to walk-ins as I am also a paying customer. Would’ve only taken like a minute to take my order too.
Aside from that the ambience and food looks great.

I feel like I was treated like royalty. This staff were great and very inviting. The music was phenomenal as well.
From the moment I walked in, I feel like I had been there before. The nostalgic feeling was probably due to the music and fantastic decorations.
There is much food to choose from. I chose the jerked chicken wings, candied yams, and greens with turkey. I like that the candied yams were very favorable but not over the top sweet. I don’t want to feel like the food is so sweet and over the top that I need to go work out as soon as I finish eating.
I think the prices are very reasonable. Be sure to bring cash to tip with because you cannot tip off a credit card.
Definitely support this. You can be your authentic self there.

I ordered through Instacart peach cobbler and the hot honey chicken I did not receive my peach cobbler and the hot honey. Chicken was in the same container as the candied yams and the macaroni and cheese so everything was covered with pepper flakes. Everything paid $41. They do not accept phone calls so I could not reach them. I would think that they wouldn’t know to put that hot honey chicken in a separate container the hot honey chicken tasted like pepper flakes and chicken. Too many pepper flakes

The people here are welcoming the food is AMAZING! The portions are well worth the $. I can’t wait to come back and try the turkey wing or maybe the fried chicken or maybe the ribs? Probably just get the smothered porkchops again. I will say I’m looking forward to trying the peach cobbler. Thank you for a wonderful meal on a not so nice weather evening.

Ordered on DoorDash and this is what I got.
There’s no point of this restaurant anymore.
Everytime you enter, they have plenty of smothered whatever that’s been sitting all day. The food is like warm at best and the staff is slower than snails because turtles moves faster.
And every time you go there, they are always missing something. I truly don’t think it is fair to pay 30+ dollars for whatever that was on my plate. And the DoorDash driver certainly didn’t deserve the attitude that was given to her. My suggestion is to close the doors FOREVER

The food just isn’t good anymore, I went earlier today and got 2 dinners. One smothered chicken, mac & cheese and sweet potatoes, the other baked chicken w/dressing mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. One thing I dislike is my food being served room temperature as a dine in order. Secondly my partner smothered chicken was so overly soggy and unseasoned. Cornbread muffins were hard as if they’re pre warmed , sweet potatoes were mashed but weren’t nasty, mac and cheese was good, dressing w/brown gravy wasn’t good. The place was clean as for what I can see and the customer service was okay.

We ordered an Oreo milkshake and regular fries. It took over 20 min for the fries to cook. Customers who ordered after me received their food before me . While we were waiting, the lady ran to the store to buy the ice cream for my milkshake, Breyers vanilla, apparently they were out.
The milkshake was way overpriced for the size and amount given, at $8.50 I could have bought my own Breyers vanilla, pack of Oreos, and made my own.

I didn’t eat anything but I did have to pick up some peach cobbler for someone. But this new location is absolutely beautiful. My late friend and I would eat back in the day like 2005-2007is all the time and even before then at the old school location and the food then was amazing. I told them how my late friend she loved the short ribs and I will be back to try the all time great Morrison food presented by Shelia Morrison. My love for Auburn Gresham is so strong. So love my neighborhood.

Hey I just would like to say that this place is worth the wait and time for your food. The food is so amazing and delicious. The workers get you in and out and the lady with the dreads checking you out is polite and friendly. I have to give it to the ower Ms. Sheila she was on the register when I came in she was so nice and respectful greeting everyone while she was working taking care of the customers never knew she was the ower. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!
