Absolutely fantastic pizza place! . Very unassuming from the outside but the atmosphere and the pizza is sublime. We were in town for the Never Summer 100/60k race in Gould and this place was recommended to us. It did not disappoint!. The waitress I had was amazing and hilarious. Would frequent this establishment constantly if I were from the area!. Thankyou!

Once again, I’m blown away by unexpectedly good food, in out of the way places.
Walden isn’t exactly a metropolis, and this place is on the outskirts. Turns out we’ve been driving by a hidden gem.
We stopped in today, for lunch after driving around the Delaney Buttes. The Italian Sausage pizza had a nicely crisp crust, and just the right amount of everything. Mom concurs.
The inside of the place is neat. Cool decorations, and the view outside is nice. Walden’s high enough, to where eating outside is a real possibility even on days that would be hot on the Front Range. You can see for like 20 miles in most directions, and I suspect there could be interesting wildlife to be seen too.
The help looked happy. Our server, Allissa (I”m sorry if I spelled it wrong) had super cool hair, a nice smile, and got our hunger handled in short order.

It’s been a year since we were here. They have made some changes inside, for the better. This past Sunday they did a soft reopening. More seating, service was excellent. We had their 14 inch pepperoni pizza. Average thin crust pizza. Very little cheese, could hardly taste the sauce. Crust was cooked very nice for a thin crust. Maybe they have to work out the kinks.

Wow. I have to be honest, I was shocked at how amazing the food was. The atmosphere is excellent too! Quaint and very laid back. Chicken salad was rocking and the pizza may be the best I’ve had in Colorado (I’m not joking). I am from Colorado Springs and we stopped in Walden for two days while we visited state parks in the area. Seriously, you need to try this place out and it is very family friendly. You guys have a real gem here!! Outdoor seating too so yea, A++++

Don’t miss the turn. Look for the giant MANSKER STATION sign. Turn and go through the gate. This spot is only open three days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not to be missed to and from Steamboat Springs. The coolest little cabin style pizza joint with a great bar to make those not driving very happy. Highly advise stopping here. Food is fantastic, bartender is a delight to chat with, and owners are awesome.

On a friend’s referral, we stopped in for a late dinner and cold beer. The staff was very nice and we received great service. This place has some of the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the Jalapeño Popper Pizza. Several great craft beers available. We ended up renting one of the four, studio style cabins. Our cabin had 1 queen and 1 twin bed, coffee station, and full bath. Next time I’m in the area, I will definitely stop in.

The food and service was great. The outdoor space is really nice. The have outdoor games to play and room for the kids to play without interfering with others. Would be cool to see a concert here. Just beware of the mosquitos in the evening!
