My husband got this for us. The menu didn’t say the fries were on the wrap. It was dry. Had 2 very tiny pieces of chicken on the shawarma and was worth about $2. Not $10.99. Not good either. I don’t eat it. Dry.

Ordered take out from The Village Takeout tonight. We got the village salad, potato pakora, chicken gyro, and chicken shawarma with both the green and the red sauce. It was awesome! Tons of flavor with just enough spice to need a sip of water close by. So delicious! We will definitely order here again.

First, the bolani is super good, especially with the green sauce. It was far and away the best thing we ordered and I would definitely order it again. We also had the burger, which is seasoned but not very heavily. It was decent but not exciting. The dumplings were very meh. The filling seemed to be just plain meat, and the tops were hardened like what happens to steamed dumplings if they sit for too long. I requested sauce with them and I guess I was thinking it would be something like Kabab House in Carnegie, where there was a ton of sauce, versus small dipping cups on the side. I think it would be better with some seasoning in the dumpling itself as well as covering with sauce, which would prevent the drying out issue as well.
We did order delivery through DoorDash or Grubhub. It took a very long time, which was on the delivery service’s end, not the restaurant. It’s possible that everything would be better in person, but since part of the issue was somewhat bland seasoning, I think it’s fair to review on that.
We’ll go back, but it’s not a must-visit for me. I’d say try it if you’re in the area and want something different.

I recently grabbed takeout from this place and it was fantastic! The gyro was packed with flavorful, tender meat and fresh veggies, all wrapped in a perfectly toasted pita. Overall a great spot for a satisfying gyro, highly recommend for a quick and tasty meal!
