Party of 5- a fabulous meal. Four of us had lamb chops and the other had eggplant parm with pasta. We appreciated the complimentary bruschetta and rolls with butter. The Malbec wine was excellent. Service was fantastic- our server was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the piano music. Free surface lot parking on both sides of the restaurant. The locals in my party recently rediscovered this neighborhood gem- noticed many regulars were dining there as they were greeted like old friends.

Don’t hesitate! Tonight we ordered carry-out from Stoney Point, consisting of their delectable mushroom soup and three desserts. Best Idea Ever! The soup and accompanying rolls were scrumptious. The key lime cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake were all divine. Reveling in the afterglow of this meal I couldn’t help but pick up my phone to write a review. The service I received when I went to pick up this order was delightful! I received attentive and friendly service, and one of the gentlemen carried my order to my car. The staff are first class. I left, vowing to return soon to dine in! I know others who do and give Stoney Point high praise. The dining room is lovely and they have outdoor seating as well. There is parking in front and back. Make a date and go visit this lovely neighborhood gem.

Just being transparent and honest. I did wait way too long to get served. When the waitress finally came she was very hospitable with a fun attitude. I definitely give her cool points for allowing me to be different to have honey mustard with my buffalo chicken egg rolls instead of the usual blue cheese or Ranch Lol.

Stoney Point has been our preferred restaurant for years! It’s perfect for private celebrations like retirement parties and birthdays. Evenings are fabulous with the pianist accompanied by the most delicious entrees and excellent presentation. Most of all, the camaraderie, the welcoming staff, the gracious waiters including our favorite—Adolfo—make this the perfect “Cheers” atmosphere for those of us over 50. Shhhhhh! Please don’t tell anyone!

Stoney Point Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in the hills of Pasadena. Located just off the 134 Fwy., Stoney Point offers an Italian menu in a cozy traditional Italian setting.
There is a main dining room which offers intimate dinners or a dining space next to the bar for a more casual, social setting. There is a piano in this dining space.
The bar is fun and lively. Locals come and have a quick bite at the bar, and it did seem as if everyone knew everyone!
Service is spot on! Guests are immediately greeted with a Brushetta toast and tomato. We enjoyed the Crab Cake appetizer, the Lobster Ravioli and a evening special plate of Halibut.
The fish special we could not finish. Not fresh, and over cooked. Very much enjoyed the Crab Cakes. Wine and wine list needed to be reevaluated. I had the Sangiovese and then a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine did not seem as if it was stored at the proper temperature of 55 degrees. The glass was not a typical high end wine glass. I would probably bring my own bottle of wine next time or just have a cocktail instead. This was the only thing I was disappointed in.
Wait staff were present and attentive to our table needs. Friendly and suggestive. He even took our picture at the table and again in the dining room. The waiter thanked me for coming in and for his gratuity. (I gave more than the typical 20% because he was so helpful).
Parking is tight. There were three spaces clearly marked which I was able to snag one. I am not sure where other patrons parked? I saw two cars parallel to the side, but not in marked spaces.
I would definitely go here again. Enjoyable and quaint.

After many years of looking at the restaurant as we passed it on the 134, my husband invited friends, and we went to experience Stoney Point. What a pleasant surprise to receive both gracious and experienced service as well as inventive and delightful cuisine. We had crab cakes, San Rafael salad, pork chops, lemon chicken, and spaghetti with sausage. All of the choices were delicious. The salad had a brandy vinaigrette that I will now try making at home. Excellent. We will be back.
