I’m actually unsure as to why this place doesn’t have a five-star review as a whole. The food is absolutely wonderful. The employees make you feel like you’re at a high end restaurant instead of something that could be considered fast food. With that being said, the food arrived fast!! Fast and tasty to be specific…. I had fond memories of McAlisters’s from when my family and I lived in Colorado. However this was 15 years ago. So when the family and I arrived to Cullman for a volleyball tournament we thought we would give them a try. Normally we don’t eat here since we are vegetarian and I remember them for their various meat sandwiches. I was surprised to find several vegetarian options that sounded great. The franchise has definitely stepped up its diversity of food types. The staff at this location were very friendly and even walked the food to our table asking if there was anything they could get us. They even came back and cleared plates. The food on the other hand was not wonderful. The tomatoes were waterlogged, bread was soggy, spinach was heavily wilted etc. Dining area was clean and tidy. Not the best food for the money.

Just went by earlier tonight and brought dinner home and how disappointed and sad this meal is. Bought 2 sandwiches and ordered extra everything on my husbands sandwich thankfully or he wouldn’t have had much to eat. These 2 sandwiches and 2 potato salads are NOT worth $31. Won’t be back!! Get your act together Cullman. I can spend the same $$ at a top steak restaurant and at least feel like my money was well spent! And another pointer for ya— when someone is standing in line to order your crappy food, maybe you could instruct the workers to stop cleaning the garbage cans and taking out garbage and serve the customers. This has happened twice in the last 2 weeks. Just poor service and food here.

Since their opening it sure has gone down hill. From packaging/presentation to quality. Today’s club had (what I would consider) RAW bacon on it. Had to cook it to be able to eat it. They didn’t bother to cut the thing in half as usual, but I can handle that. But there is no excuse for seemingly raw bacon. Maybe it was precooked and they just heat it up, I don’t know but they could have popped it in the microwave or slapped it on a griddle or however they heat items up there. It’ll be a while before I go back for sure! Very disappointed!

It’s been awhile, but I have ate at McAlisters for many years. The food was always fresh, very good, and the service was as well.
Welcome to Tthe post pandemic restaurant culture. While this location is new and very clean, few customers were there, and even fewer workers.
I have had the McAlisters Club many times, but I was shocked when it came out. The sandwich was very unimpressive and tasted like – cardboard. They could add the chips to the plate so it appears as larger. The wheat bread was possibly litely toasted, but more likely stale and dry. This lunch was almost $14 with tea and chips.
I think this will be my last trip.

Ordered the spicy southwest chicken sandwich and the avocado in it was BLACK and rotten and smelly. I’ve worked in the food industry and anyone could have visibly seen that the avocado was without a doubt rotten. But instead they proceeded to slice it and put it on my sandwich and then served it to me. I ordered it for delivery so I’m genuinely wondering if perhaps they did it knowing I wouldn’t be able to immediately return it and ask for a full refund. I proceeded to eat part of my sandwich because I’ve been sick with the flu and haven’t gone grocery shopping so I didn’t have anything else to eat but here is a picture. I literally cried bc I’d been looking forward to this sandwich and I love avocado but this is just not edible

Yummy. I enjoyed it, wait time was maybe 5 minutes. Everyone is so quick to judge. They just opened, like 2 weeks ago. Slow your roll and enjoy moments with your friends and family. I loved it. My Classic Club was amazing, like always….and I’m about to munch down this salad. I use to go to the Tuscaloosa location for years so glad to see it here. The sweet tea is like slap ya momma SWEET. As I recall it’s always been that way. If you like sammiches, salads, soups or spuds try it out!!!
