The food was made quickly and looked so delicious when I opened up the box. It was very hot and extremely tasty. The staff is so friendly and greeted me when I walked in. I always enjoy ordering from this location. The restaurant is clean and organized. I highly recommend Papa John’s. They always have great coupons on their app.

This location closes their lobby early and customers are required to go the drive through. During busy times, customers are forced to wait through a slow line – even when the order is ready but the person in front of yours isn’t. Combine this with the fact that there is no dedicated drive thru person, you could be waiting awhile for an employee to come to the drive the. This location has addressed this in the past by having a door bell for customers to press when they are at the window. That said, the door bell is in disrepair for quite some time and the owner has opted to not replace the door bell and instead to leave it in a broken state with a hand written note to call the store and wait for a store employee to answer the phone. This set up is a very poor customer experience.

I’ve ordered twice for pick up in the last month. Each time, the pizzas I’ve ordered were ready pretty fast considering it was during lunch time. Pizzas were delicious. Great sauce to topping ratio and crust was perfectly cooked. The drive/thru has a ring doorbell so make sure to ring that or you may not be spotted right away.

The service and pizza were both really good, and I enjoyed them a lot. However, there was one problem that stood out today. A customer ended up blocking the drive-through lane, which caused some inconvenience. It seemed like the staff could have asked this person to wait on the side instead of letting them block the way. This would have allowed other customers, especially those who had pre-ordered their food, to move through the line more smoothly and without having to wait unnecessarily. Unfortunately, this situation made the experience less pleasant than it could have been, and I didn’t appreciate having to wait longer because of it. Overall, while the food and service were great, this particular issue with the drive-through was disappointing.

I’ve been ordering from Papa Johns since they were on 1st street. That’s a long time.
I guess they no longer use their own drivers. My food, scheduled to be delivered after 2:45, was left on the floor of another apartment building at around 2:20… I received a picture of an area I don’t recognize and a text saying “we handed you your pizza”.
This was inexcusable. No more Papa Johns of DeKalb for us.

HORRIBLE!!
I forgot to add two sauces on my online delivery so I called the local store to add it. I was informed that they had to refund my entire order and I would have to wait approximately 3 to 5 business days to get it refunded back to my account and then we had to proceed to reorder everything just so I could add the two sauces.
Then I find out DoorDash is who is delivering my pizza. They forgot the two sauces, repeatedly hung up on me when I tried to explain, and then when he FINALLY answered….flat out refused to go and get them, told me they could start a refund…then hung up
So no sauces that I paid for and no refund.
DO BETTER!

Ordered a gluten free pizza and the crust was burned. Pointed it out to the lady behind the counter and she basically said too bad that is the way it is. She then offered me a regular pizza… Ummm… I’m ordering it because I have a allergies, not for fun… Order from Domino’s or Rosatis they don’t burn it, they are more generous with the toppings, and their people are much more concerned about their customers. Seriously, it is not rocket science people, cook the pizza less.
