“Mini” (kids) burger is placed in a full size bun. Odd, but OK, doesn’t hurt kids to have extra bread, & probably cost effective to stock only 1 size .
I’m glad the institution is still there I suppose? Or the neighborhood is?
I didn’t find it tastey, or a good deal. I threw out half or so of the food out. I don’t usually waste food, especially when it was $$ spent.
Maybe the ice cream is good, or maybe menu items I didn’t try are better? Don’t think I’ll return to try again though.
Probably great for neighborhood kids, & teens. Not far from the beach.
We were out there on Sunday, after hotel checkout on our way to the Wharf to do one last bout of fishing…
This was on the way, and in the past, I have enjoyed Foster’s Freeze and its food.
My wife got the corn dog meal and I ordered the regular burger and an order of overpriced mozzarella sticks.
When I grab my order, I ask for extra marinara, noting there was NO marinara on the tray…
That’s when I find out they don’t have any marinara (Had they mentioned that at the beginning, I would have never ordered them, but… fine, whatever).
Also, they don’t allow for refills even dining in.
Just FYI.
No wonder it was empty at 12 noon on a Sunday… I’ve experienced better service at a 7/11.
I brought them back from Santa Cruz and what a delight.
Nothing is better than a good burger especially when it’s served with a smile and at that Foster Freeze the young man working the order was great.
That is what makes a burger great.
