I’ve been to this restaurant before and was relatively happy with it, but this time decided to their other location in Bradenton, rather than the one by the mall to avoid the traffic and hustle and bustle then the one by the mall.
I am somewhat regretting that decision!

First let me say that although we did not order very much, the food was very good!
I ordered the shrimp scampi over linguine and had calamari added to it and my mother got the penne with broccoli rabe and sausage.
Although the food could have come out a bit hotter, ( temperature- wise ) both were delicious!
The calamari was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty! The broccoli rabe was cooked very well and the sausage was sliced thinly amd was good.
There was no complimentary bread or Salad with pasta dishes , so we had to order a small Caesar to share, which tacked on another $9 to our already somewhat expensive Bill to be honest.
( Keep in mind all we had were 1 glass Prosecco, 1 Beer and 1 glass white wine… w/ two pasta dishes- our bill totaled almost $90! )
and there again , No complimentary side salad, bread or oil or anything which would have been nice!.

Although a positive is that they have both indoor and outdoor seating and they seem to be dog friendly!!
The tables were a little bit dirty in the service for outdoor seating was very lacking.
The wait staff changed shift mid-miel and were very inattentive although polite.

Insofar is the atmosphere goes I can’t say much for that either sitting Outdoors you could hear the music from the bar restaurant that was about 100 ft away or less and indoor seating was available but small. The location by the mall felt much more like a restaurant with much better service.
I do have to say I find them to be a bit pricey although the food is good.

I would not go back to this location But would definitely give them another try because I hear the pizza and salads are great!

I tried to place a to-go order on this pizza shop’s website, but it refused to work no matter what I clicked. Apparently the site has the same reliability as a coin toss. When I told an employee about it, they shrugged and said, “Half the people can get it to work and the other half are like you.” Fantastic — nothing like being personally roasted by someone who serves canned-tasting spaghetti.
Speaking of the spaghetti… yeah. It tasted like it was poured straight out of a can and warmed up just enough to legally qualify as “food.” Between the website roulette and pasta that could double as emergency rations, I’m not exactly rushing back.

Hands down the BEST dinner I have had out in a long time!!! And I eat out a lot! I enjoyed a glass of chardonnay and the Amalfi chicken dinner over gluten free pasta. It came out piping hot from the kitchen and each bite literally melted in my mouth with so much flavor! Very generous sized portions so I enjoyed my leftovers the next night. The servers were very attentive. I cant wait to go back to try another dish on their menu! I highly recommend!

We arrived at 4:30 on Friday the 8th of November 2024.. We were greeted by Precious and she was a delight to talk to. I ordered my Stella and wife got a Sprite. At this time we were the only customers. I ordered the Carne on thin crust and wife ordered the White sauce pizza with Arugula on thin crust. They have a window for outside pick up which was cool. We received bread and it was warm and very delicious. Two women came in and asked them if they were regulars here and they said they try to be. They said they love Vacci’s pizza. Our pizzas arrived very hot and looked great. I cut a piece and when I held it to see if it was soggy from too much grease from the meats it was firm. The first bite was not a disappointment at all. The cheese was fresh and stringy, it was great. The sauce was light and had great taste and it wasn’t too sweet. The meats were fresh tasting with great flavor. The crust had nice bubbles that had a nice char on it. Even as I got to my 4th piece the crust was still nice and firm. My wife said here pizza was fantastic. I rate every pizza to the best pizza made and that’s at Moose’s Tooth Pizza in Anchorage Alaska. Again my standard is set high and Vacci did not disappoint me at all. This place has fantastic pizza and Precious was great. They had a lot of orders to go starting around 5pm. More people arrived and they looked happy. Now the real question is will we go back? Hell yes, this place holds it’s on for a great pizza. We spent $64 on 2 pizzas with a beer and a drink. Precious did a great job. Tell Precious hi from The Alaskans. This is a 4.75 star place

As a person who loves to make homemade pizza, I admire this place for having the same quality. You can tell a good pizza from a bad one by the quality of the pepperonis. Most pizza shops use cheap pepperonis but this place uses high-quality pepperonis that are thick and solid and firm and don’t have that Cheap taste that most pizza shops use. The cheese and tomato sauce are also really good and I can tell that the tomato sauce they use is made with love and high quality. The crust texture is perfect. My only tip would be to mix a little bit more of a Parmesan blend with the cheese, but other than that it’s perfect! It’s not cheap but worth it! If you’re ordering to go they have a window on the side so you don’t have to enter the building.

Ordered gluten free with pepperoni, extra sauce and lite cheese.
You can’t get much thinner than this little crisp BUT the flavors were definitely there! So good! If you’re looking for doughy GF crust—this isn’t it. But I was still very impressed despite! Will be trying this place again.

First time eating at this family owned Italian restaurant, but it won’t be my last. The Caesar Salad was very good. The Garlic Knots were good, but needed more garlic. The Vodka pasta with Chicken added was awesome! The Pop’s Piccata was good, but could use a little more lemon. The portions are large enough to share or have the second half for lunch/dinner the next day.

I’ve been here a number of times, mainly carryout.

Generally good experiences, today wasn’t so much because I felt skimped out on sauce and toppings. There are other reviews on here indicating the same issue so it does seem to be a common theme. I had ordered sort a Bella with pepperoni, and it was incredible dry, one slice had about a dimes worth of sauce on most slices. Goes needless to say: every pizza, especially your specialty pizza, should have all the toppings on each individual slice. We also ordered a supreme pizza which it feels like the toppings were barely sprinkled on.

This is one of the better spots in this neighborhood. The ingredients taste fresh, the bake is great, but it’s hard to justify $50 for two pizzas at a place that is a bit inconsistent.

An honest reasonable review so read carefully. Ok, so, I hate to do this BUT…. I’ve been ordering from here for sometime now(through Uber Eats) and this time around I’ve gotta say the toppings that are “premium” are anything but that. I ordered a large cheese with grilled chicken and arugula. The grilled chicken that was sprinkled on doesn’t even equate to half a chicken breast so basically each slice has little chunks of about 3 to 4 pieces. HUGE disappointment for us considering we KNOW about the quality of a great slice( from NYC born and bred) and for the money these toppings cost it is absolutely unacceptable. Additionally, the grandma pie ordered last time was a bit flavorless or lacking if you will. Usually this type of pie brings us back to our Staten Island days and the great pizza makers that once were but it was lacking. Again, a pie that was frequently ordered. Not sure what is going on in that kitchen, perhaps a new hire not sure of the love that goes into making a great slice? …OR…maybe you guys are getting to popular and trying to keep up with demand?, whatever it is it’s gotta change and change quick. I will try again with another order in the near future but if it’s even worse than it has been since these last two orders we will have to move on unfortunately. Otherwise than that, if you aren’t from the NYC area and like pizza then it’s for you, but if you crave authenticity of a great Italian American slice beit from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, or Jersey to name a few, then buyer beware. I’ll update dependant on the next order.
