I decided, Saturday afternoon, I wasn’t going to cook. Knew the new restaurant had replaced WBs, so I went there and ordered some wings. It came with two sides, rice, and cornbread. ALL OF IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! Great, fun atmosphere, found myself dancing (a little bit) to the music. Mr. James, hope your restaurant succeeds for a long time! I’m planning to come back!!!

Stopped in today 12/10/25 just passing through. You don’t find places like this anymore .The waitress was one of our best experiences. Blanche was her name.All waitresses could take a page out of her book on how to treat customers. She gets an A+ from us.Food was so good.I got shrimp cooked to profection,my husband got a burger.Will make sure we tell everyone we know about this place.Jackson County heads up.

OMG if y’all don’t RUN to this restaurant and eat up all the food you are missing out! I had the best cooked garlic parmesan wings with fries and it was GOOOOOD! I was in town briefly and met up with some friends and they also enjoyed their meals! So delicious and cooked to perfection! Very flavorful and not overwhelming! AJ’s Chicken and Maryland’s Chicken might as well just close down! And the LEMONADE…. I could have drank an entire gallon of it. I can’t wait to come back in town to try other items on the menu!!!!

Wonderful place. Been to the old and new locations and the food was great. It was not only freshly cooked as I ordered it but the customer service was on point. They were kind and respectful. I even came with children and they were respectful to the kids as well. We will be back.

Apparently this establishment only serves locals. Drove from Monticello, FL Sunday July 26, 2025. Entered the restaurant waited over tens minutes at the bar in the front of the register. The owners wife nor did the cashier/server (gold hair) greet me nor was my order ever taken. I will never patronize this “Black Business” again. I frequently visited the old location while working in Quincy. Great food, customer service TRASH!!

Came to this place on a Sunday, they were serving a soul food menu. Soul food was on point. Collard greens and mac A+. Fried chicken was flavorful and crispy. I also tried the baked chicken and it far exceeded my expectations. Service was quick and the servers were very pleasant. 5 stars!

Literally paid $800 for a booth only for an event, Ball Greezy. When we arrived, we were taken to our booth. Which is a private section that was supposed to seat 10 ppl. Asked the owner why our booth was so small and it’s not enough room for 10 ppl. He stated that the corner booths are the smallest. Literally only enough for 5 ppl. I asked the owner for a refund, and we would just leave. He stated it’s an event and he can’t offer a refund. I stated well how we are supposed to fit in this booth, our booth is way smaller than the others. He stated he always tells the promoters that when they are booking the corner booths, to let the customers know that the booth is smaller. We were never told our booth would be smaller. The owner walked off like he was going to try and figure something out. 5 minutes later, that bottle girl brought out our liquor. I asked her where we were going to put the liquor and the bucket. She stated this booth doesn’t come with a table, so we can sit it on the floor. Because all the seat was taken by us 5 that was sitting. I asked her if she could please get the owner. The owner stated somebody stole the table before we got here. He went looking for it and couldn’t find it. So, who is lying to you or your staff member? I asked him if we could just get a refund and leave. He stated it’s an event weekend, and he can’t do a refund. He stated we had opened the liquor. I said Well, let me run to the liquor store, replace the liquor, and you just give us a refund when I come back. Because we don’t have a table to sit our stuff on, and our booth is way smaller than the other booths, and this was bad business, it’s literally 10 of us. This booth only holds 5 ppl. They agreed to give us half the money back. I said Cool, grab my purse and was about to hit the door. Then they changed it and said he wasn’t giving us anything because he didn’t like our attitudes. For one, we were supposed to have a booth for 10 ppl, not 5. We had nowhere to put our food or liquor, and the owner didn’t offer any type of compensation and didn’t care. I ended up just leaving. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
