This was my mom’s FAVORITE place to eat. I always heard her RAVE about it, but was never able to enjoy it with her before she passed.
During my last trip to Louisiana from Texas to visit my dad and uncle we were able to go and enjoy the atmosphere and talk about mom.
I was educated on the back story of this wonderful place and the connection it hold to cancer .
Like so many people, my family was touched by this horrible disease. My mom being one. It warmed a place in my heart to know there are those that fight the fight. Donate . And have found a way to commemorate , with a beautiful teal straw to pass the story and message forward.
Great food. Great people. Even better legacy.
Thank you Newks. I will be back !!

Great food for the price. I actually like it better than McCallisters. Restaurant clean and spacious. Drinks are fresh. Food comes out on time,fresh made . Staff is polite,and engaging. Atmosphere is good for couples who want to talk. Parking is good. Wife and I split a French Dip and 2 potato salads,and drinks for under $16. Don’t sleep on the free pickles.

Newk’s never disappoints! My order was exactly what I asked for—fresh, delicious, and prepared perfectly. Everything was ready in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. The customer service was excellent, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. It’s no surprise this place is one of my family’s favorites. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Loved the food. Central and easy access to highway, this restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch.

Both veggie burger and veggie pizza are one of the best we ever tasted, perfectly grilled vegetables with tasteful dow and bread. Loved them.

First time here. The layout of the restaurant was nice and atmosphere was just fine. My little girl liked the kids pizza with just the right amount of crunch in the crust. My wife said her pizza was good. I got the ultimate salad with honey mustard dressing which came with it. The salad had plenty of ingredients; but the dressing was way too spicy for me. I was caught off guard; because most honey mustard dressing have sweeter taste. Will try again but with different dressing.

9-17-19 Tuesday dinner. The ladies working at the front counter were super nice. They walked us through the unfamiliar menu considering it was our first time at this location. The restaurant appeared to be clean. The food was OK. Looking at the menu I thought it was going to be better though. This restaurant should have a build your own pizza opposed to only the options that they have one the menu. Overall it was not a bad experience and the food was better than fast food such as McDonald’s Wendy’s etc. I would return to this location.

I came in early for an online order during a busy week day rush. The two men working with the front of house were professional, helpful, and above all friendly. I arrived early and caused confusion, but they were more than happy to expedite my order- all without me even asking.

We enjoy eating at Newks because it’s a clean and friendly atmosphere. The manager is very friendly also. The food is excellent try their potato soup yummy.
