Last night was my first dinner at Elina, and it instantly became one of my favorites. The tuna tartare is hands down the best in Aspen, and the Artichoke Heart Bruschetta was incredible. The food and cocktails were outstanding. The desserts were on another level, but the Crème Caramel really stood out, next level. The vibe and atmosphere were super pleasant.

Ellina was perfection. The tuna tartare, the salmon, the ambiance, the people everything was impeccable. Elegant, warm, and dreamy… truly a girl’s dream of a dinner spot. Can’t wait to go back ✨

One of the best experiences, if not the best in Aspen. From the ambiance, service and food everything was 5-star quality. Gavino was sweet and attentive. Jill was hospitable and impressive. All the food was spectacular and highly recommended to eat here. Order the Artichoke Heart Bruschetta or the Gruyère polenta croutons. They will change your life. The chicken Milanese was simple and elegant. Bolognese on point.

You can cook the same pasta and fish at home if you are at least a mediocre cook. $40 per dish is a ridiculous price for this level of bland taste. Attaching a picture of how pasta was served: I also throw a grated cheese on a coarse grater like this at home when I am too tired to make it look pretty. Service: they would not grind pepper for you, they will just bring you a cheapest plastic pepper mill and put it on the table. Again, this is fine, but when dishes cost $40 each. On the pro side: ambiance is nice and the olive oil that came with the bread was good quality.
When posting the same review on OpenTable the answer from the restaurant was aggressive. I appreciate the hard work of the chef who works a lot as they mentioned in the answer, but the taste is just not there.

We had wonderful dining experience at Ellina!
The menu is thoughtfully crafted featuring mostly Italian-inspired dishes. Everything we ordered—artichoke heart bruschetta, braised octopus, lasagna, braised short ribs and tiramisu —was so incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. The wine list is well-curated, and when we needed recommendations, the team was more than happy to guide us/provide recommendations, rounding out a truly memorable dining experience. We started the night with cocktails which were also spot on! The restaurant space itself is super cozy and intimate while still feeling refined and sophisticated. The staff was lovely – genuinely welcoming and super attentive. Highly recommend!

The experience at Ellina was excellent from start to finish. The service is attentive and genuinely warm. I loved the cocktail menu, especially the aperitivi section, wich really makes you feel like you’re in Italy. I went with a Negroni sbagliato. We started with a couple of tacos (easily the best tacos in Aspen), then had the black pepper fettuccini and the lasagna; both dishes were outstanding. Ellina is officially my new favorite spot in Aspen, and I’ll definitely be back soon.

I can’t say enough good things about Ellina—it is truly one of the best restaurants in Aspen. The salmon is one of my favorite dishes, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. All the food is fresh and delicious. Ellina is an Aspen staple that genuinely captures the local spirit – so many restaurants are missing that in Aspen.
The owner, Jill, makes the experience even more special with her vibrant energy and exceptional attentiveness. She goes above and beyond for every guest and has an incredible talent for selecting the perfect wine pairing for your meal. Not to mention she is absolutely hysterical. Do not miss out on this place.

I truly cannot understand any poor review of this restaurant. It is one of our absolute favorite restaurants that we continue to choose for every date night and special occasion. I dream about the artichoke bruschetta! All the food is creative and delicious. The wait staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. Ambiance is cozy and welcoming. And the icing on the cake was the owner who had the best suggestions on wine pairings. these wines were ones I had never heard of before and have now become some of my favorites! Do yourself a favor and eat at Ellina !!

This is the best restaurant in Aspen. The setting is intimate for a small group and yet I’ve been there with a table of 10 as well. The service is top notch and the owner is involved and well versed on every menu item and every wine on the list. This is a spectacular experience with a European feeling in both service and food quality. It checks every box. Thank you to every person who is part of this establishment!!!!

Favorite restaurant in Aspen! Love sitting at the bar or booking a big table for celebrations. Jill, the owner, is always so so accommodating is a well of knowledge when it comes to wine! I particularly love the calamari, whole artichoke, and chicken milanese! Oh and the Diablo drink is amazing!! And it’s one of the few Locally Owned restaurants left in Aspen! Go support and enjoyyyy
