This is the best little “hidden gem” in the area. I’ve tried everything from this food truck and it’s all fantastic. The breakfast sammiches are on a large, fluffy bun and she does the eggs in dainty layers piled high & lots of meat. I am a Reuben connoisseur and this one is The Best. On a nice day, there’s nothing better than sitting on the patio and watching the ferry & freighter action. Love this place~

Excellent food! Had the Fitzgerald sandwich on Thursday 7/3/25 – it was the best sandwich we had on our week long Yooper vacation. It was hot fresh and stuffed! Highly recommended it – enjoyed “the show” while we ate as the James R Barker cruised by with a salute!

Driving around on a beautiful Fall day, probably the last one for the year, brought us into Detour Village just after noon. Luckily this place was still open so we stopped for lunch. The pulled pork was good as was the Italian sandwich. They have tables outside if you don’t want to sit in your car.

They have a food truck on Elizabeth Street near the ferry. Quick service & can even call ahead. Nice homemade ice cream sandwiches from chocolate chip cookies!
