A fabulous idea. You go up to the bar, place an order and bring it to your table. Nice and simple. The pizza was excellent! Fabulous entertainment. I saw exit 102 Band. I met an old friend who was involved with WWF wrestling. He plays the drums for this band.

Why this is called ‘Locals’…. Rude, nasty, prejudice staff, with overpriced mini ice filled cups of shitty alcohol. Denied service due to another drunk patron. A stranger.. On my birthday. I guess 1 small shitty overpriced drink in a tiny plastic cup, and a drop in what they call a shot glass is way way to much to drink, according to the “management”. Typical Manalapan rudeness at what once was a great liquor store, with an actual local spot in the back. Beware ladies, you might get home with someone, but find yourself having been assaulted when you wake up, alone, after coming here….

First off so thankful to find a place in this area that is open till 2:00 a.m. on week nights, and to add to the greatness of it being a very cool joint, they have super nice staff, their food is above average for bar food. Really good food. They have the touch tunes app juke box, and actually play it loud enough to hear. They also have great bands and a dj night (I have yet to experience a DJ night). The Locals that I have met there are regulars and you can feel the family like vibe in the place. I went in alone and never felt alone, the conversations flow through the bar and they even have games like pool, ping pong and a cool ring toss game. Go to Locals, feel the vibe and you’ll become a local.

Atmosphere was good, band was good. Service was insane. One end of the bar charged me 3 dollars more for the same exact drink I ordered at the other end. Prices were out of control and clearly something shady was going on.

I liked this place more than I thought I would. The drinks were all in pint glasses and not watered down. The staff was friendly and on their game. I watched football and they had plenty of TVs to choose from. I loved that they had 2 pool tables and they were surprisingly free! They could use more pool sticks, a bridge and a 2nd ball rack, but it’s free so who cares. I’ll definitely go back for drinks and atmosphere

The staff here is the best! Drink choices are great, and the bartenders can make any cocktail. Food is really good as well. My go to is the burgers or cheesestake quesadilla. If you have never been definitely stop by.
