Neat spot in the small town of Oxford, Pa. Came based on previous reviews, and we received prompt and friendly service in a clean, nicely decorated, smaller restaurant. We tried multiple dishes, including the sampler, fried catfish platters with sides, and the shrimp and grits. Everything was fresh, hot, and delivered within a very respectable amount of time. We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious cornbread, in a smaller cast iron skillet, hot out of the oven and sprinkled with brown sugar and drizzled with honey We will 100% be back and I highly recommend checking this soul food spot out. We drove 48 minutes, and it was worth every second!

EVERYTHING was good! I wanted to stop eating to write this review. We found this place after visiting a nearby Zoo. Everyone enjoyed their food. My 6 y/o was please with her wings/fries. She even started eating from our plates. The cornbread is complimentary when dining in, and I should have ordered one to go. The vibe and music was great and the staff was friendly. The owner is welcoming and made sure we were enjoying the food. Thank u for exceptional service and food!

I ate here a few months back, my mom just moved to the area so she brought us here because she had heard amazing things from locals. We’re going back tonight and bringing my boyfriend for the first time because we have done nothing but rave about how amazing it was! I had the ribs and when I tell you they were the best ribs I’ve ever had, I’m not exaggerating. Same goes for the Mac and cheese! The best I’ve ever had! Staff was amazing and friendly, we appreciated the owner and cooks coming out to ask us how we liked everything. I live an hour and some change away and honestly it’s probably better that way because if I were more local, I’d be eating here every single day and going broke. So we are very excited to be making the trip up there tonight to enjoy it again! I have not stopped thinking about this place since the first time I ate here a few months back! 10/10! We love Teen’s Place!

Man oh man where do I begin….first of all can we talk about crazy good this cornbread is and it’s on The house. I ordered fried catfish with yams and macaroni, also been craving shrimp and grits…..so I ordered it. The shrimp and grits was enough to be a meal in itself,it was amazing and hot,flavors on point. The cook was extremely humble and kind ,he let me know in advance that my fish wasn’t quite ready and sorry for the inconvenience. Listen I almost forgot about that fish because I was tearing that cornbread and grits up lol .Needless to say ,that fish was so good and flaky,the texture was magnificent. 10/10

I could tell our server was on the younger side and may have been a little bit nervous, I tried my Best to make her feel comfortable and not over complicate things. Besides her being super soft-spoken, overall she did an awesome job. The ironic thing about this whole ordeal is we a drove an hour just to try this food and come to find out ,they catered an event in my city the night before lol. I know this is super long but I had to express in detail how good this place made me feel sorry not sorry,btw the portions was so fulfilling that I took the rest to go sn: food was so amazing that I didn’t Even warm it up when I ate it later lol. We drove from Maryland to check this place out and it didn’t disappoint. The food was on point. I had the Fisherman’s Platter to get an idea of the different selections. This is what soul food is supposed to taste like. It’s worth the drive. You will not be disappointed. Everything was hot on the plate and the owner Tina has a heart of gold. Chef Dwayne you the truth. Cornbread should be in stores . Well done. We will be back.

Wonderful food. The catfish platter was outstanding. The baked beans were very tasty but the star of the show was the cornbread. We agreed we have never had such tasty cornbread before. Loved everything. We will definitely be back.

Wow! I can’t believe we have driven past this place for over two years. If you are in the area, DO NOT miss out on stopping here! Most excellent food, service, clean and inviting atmosphere! The corn bread is the best we have had yet, the blt chicken sandwich was huge and delicious down to the last bite! The pulled pork sandwich was delicious along with the side! Definitely coming back!

We had such a wonderful experience! This restaurant provided my sorority sisters and me with an amazing soul food meal that truly hit the spot. The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared — exactly what we needed for our gathering.
