I’ve been going to Oriental Express in Deptford, New Jersey for about two and a half years, and they never disappoint. The customer service is always top-notch everyone is friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive. When I dine in, they bring the food to the table and check to make sure I have everything I need. They’re always generous and understanding.
The food is consistently hot, fresh, and very tasty. If I’m anywhere near the Deptford area and craving Chinese food, this small restaurant is always my first choice. The food and the service are both excellent every single time.

Ordered on DoorDash. Fiancé said the General Tso’s chicken was good. Chicken was crispy and sauced well. The vegetable fried rice was flavorful. I had what was supposed to be pepper steak…the steak was as scarce as water in the desert. When it was found the texture was very weird. Chewy and oddly soft. An abundance of onions and peppers. I will not buy it again even though it looks good.

Best Chinese food in Jersey!! The staff is always super nice and giving us free stuff when we put big orders in! We do take out so not sure how in service wait staff does. Definitely worth a try!!

Wow. First of all.. to the man that delivered our food i’m so sorry I could not leave a bigger tip but I will be sure to next time as I’m definitely ordering from here again! I can’t say enough good things about my order. It came hot and beautifully package. I’ve never seen a Chinese restaurant actually organize their packaging and also they included such a beautiful Chinese calendar. Most Takeout places in West Deptford are to put simply, shitty. But this place is literally a jem and they need more notoriety! Thank you so much & I’m so glad I found a new restaurant worth investing my money into!

Oriental.Express has good food and nice people. However, their prices have risen above most places. Also they are charging 30c just to bag the food. I’ve been a customer many years. Vegetarian and many times order has not been correct. I usually pick up.
