I am addicted to the tofu burger! it is always so tasty and fresh! The atmosphere is nice and the open kitchen is awesome. The portions are generous and the staff so friendly! Perfect spot to hit after the movies! They also have breakfast and craft beer!

Ordered the bacon cheese (American), added jalapenos, fries, onion rings & fruit & red velvet cake. Cake looked delich but was on the dry end, fruit was awesome, sweet mixture or mango, watermelon, grapes & a bit of cantaloupe. (Cold), fries were plain string (no salt, no season) Onion rings were crispy & fresh but wet on the inside.. still very good. The burger was more trimming than meat, but meat tasted house made with a lil seasoning, which is awesome. Jalapenos were not to hot but right to taste for burger. Definitely big enough to fullfil. Pretty tasty and right for price to food ratio. Id recommend if one could actually find a parking space lol.. everything is sold separately. All this was less than 40bucks with drink.

First time trying and I was impressed by the quality of the food.
We got a chicken sandwich combo with garlic fries (highly recommended) as well as a regular bacon cheeseburger combo.
The server was nice, the restaurant was clean and not crowded. It felt cozy and comfortable.
Definitely going back to try more of their seasoned fries, as they have different styles available.

Always happy to find another burger spot that does it right, a lot of places, particularly chains leave me unimpressed, say for instance, Habit burgers.
However, rocket char understands something about hamburgers and that is the construction. You can’t just go throw a bunch of meat on some bread and call it a hamburger things have to be sliced the right thickness, arranged in the right way, and placed on the right bun, and the patties have to be cooked the right way in order for it to actually qualify as a hamburger, and charburger nails it! The burgers came hot and fresh, with the lettuce and onion nice and crunchy the way I like it, and the fries piping hot right out of the fryer. More and more I’m liking some of the restaurants in this part of Hayward, and I will definitely be coming back to rocket char.

We ordered a chicken sandwich, a cheeseburger with bacon and garlic fries. The burger was cooked to perfection, it was amazing. The chicken sandwich was loaded with fresh avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, fresh onion and juicy grilled chicken. The garlic fries were amazing, 100x better than the ones you get at the garlic festival.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The establishment was very clean and I noticed they take extra precautions to help prevent the spread of covid. All the employees were wearing a mask and gloves and the restaurant was very clean. During the time we were there they came outside to sanitize the tables and the outdoor area in general.
I feel very safe eating there and really enjoyed our lunch at Rockit Char Grill. I can’t wait to go back with friends and share a delicious meal.

I can only speak about one item and that is the Flamin’ Chicken. It’s the bomb! Amazing combo of veggies they include in there and are very generous of them all! It’s perfect if you like spicy foods, veggies and chicken sandwiches!

The food was a bit overpriced (40 for lunch for 2) the burgers were pretty big but nothing to rage about taste wise. The restaurant is in need of a lot maintenance, blinds are dirty walls need some touch up paint. The staff was ok, we put in our order and then got our food so nothing amazing there either.

It was decent. I ordered the rockin bbq burger, which comes with bbq sauce, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. Fries and drink is an extra 3.99. They give you a big portion of fries and one free refill. The service was great. Aniya was freindly and helpful on our first time here.

1st time visit. Service was OK, they answered my questions kindly and patiently. Food presentation was good it looked appetizing. Only issue was that the steak and cheese fries were obviously prepared at separate times – steak was hot & fresh from grill. Fries were luke-warm and cheese was meltedwhich would be perfect for just cheese fries but the cheese was completely solid, the warm meat could not impact it.

I didn’t know that the char grilled burger was store bought patties, they were tough. My body took a long time to digest this food. Wish their meat was fresh, but it’s the frozen patties.
The onion rings were very good though, nice and juicy on the inside just the way I like them.
