Sitara Bee
Simple, no-fuss diner with amiable staff. Ignore the photos of the menus on this Google page; the prices have increased by about 2 or 3 dollars for each item since then. I ordered a beef sandwich and peach cobbler; the total price was 15.70, but they accepted 15 dollars. I like the concept of a meat-only burger and the peach cobbler was not too sweet with a great texture. Muchas gracias!

So, I recently tried out this barbecue spot that’s been getting mixed reviews. As a native Texan, I have my barbecue standards, but I wanted to give it a fair shot.
Walking in, you head up to the counter to place your order. There’s a tip jar, just in case you’re feeling generous. I opted for a combo plate with two meats, two sides, and some bread, which came out to $16.89. The portions were definitely generous, making it a good deal in my book.
Now, let’s get to the meaty details. The brisket was a bit on the dry side, but a little BBQ sauce helped salvage it. The sausages were tasty but slightly overcooked. On the side front, the potato salad was a winner, while the cole slaw didn’t quite hit the mark.
In conclusion, this place offers decent and affordable barbecue. It might not be the best you’ve ever had, but it’s certainly not bad either. If you happen to be passing through Bellaire and want a satisfactory BBQ fix, it’s worth a visit.

My wife picked up some “Q and brouught it home. The brisket was kinda dry and chewy, 2 stars. The sausage was 4 stars, nice taste and the casing had just a little snap. The Pork ribs were 5 stars, nice flavor and the meat was tender. The fried okra was good and the french fries were meh.

We recently moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. The brisket, ribs, bbq sauce and sides (cole slaw, fried onion rings and okra) were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was low key and service was top notch. Will definitely be back next time we are in the mood for some good bbq.

I went here to grab lunch and then for some to go for someone else. This is by far the absolute WORST food ever. This is not barbeque. I don’t know what it is. They have something they call sauce which is like dirty watered down salsa. It was AWFUL!!!! I couldn’t stomach it. You are better off to put ketchup on it. And don’t look at the menu board on the wall because the prices are not correct!!!!! I got 2 chopped beef (???) sandwiches, 2 cokes, and a bag of chips and it was over $30.00!!!!!! Please, please, save your time, your money, and your gastrointestinal area. I have NO IDEA how this place is in business. The worst ever!!!!! Don’t go.

Not good barbecue at all-at all. The barbecue sauce is like a gravy or something. The brisket had no seasoning, and the ribs could have gone in the oven for more tenderness if they actually came off of a grill. It’s not a real smokey flavor whatsoever. Customer service was good and patient, but that’s about it.

I got the three meat plate with sliced brisket, pork ribs, and chicken. All the meats were dry and very chewy. The so called baked beans were really ranch style beans with no flavor. The green beans were okay. My wife had a two meat baked potato with chopped brisket and sausage. She said it was alright. Well spending almost $40 for the food it should have been better than alright. I will not be spending my money there anymore.
