This was our first time here. We had the club sandwich with fries and chicken salad sandwich with potato salad. All excellent. The sandwiches were big and enough to take home other half for dinner. The potato salad was on the sweet side but very good. My wife said the chicken salad was some of the best she’s ever had.

They were missing a few items like the hollandaise for all of their benedicts, which was disappointing because that’s what I planned to order but what we did get was really good! Our waitress was perfect! I wish I got her name. She rolled with all of our jokes, made sure we had everything we asked for and didn’t leave a single glass empty. I wish I had taken pictures but we were too busy enjoying our food! Highly recommend

Food was good server was polite and on top of things. Need to control language being used in back where everyone in dining area can hear not to mention it is not professional at all to have the cook dropping F bombs next to a two year old I get it was slow and only two people in there but come on! It’s has been very difficult to stop him from repeating it for the past day or so. Overall I enjoyed and would return but definitely control the language place is nice and a lot of potential

From the outside would be easy to miss this little restaurant, but the food totally makes up for the atmosphere! We had fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were tasty and plentiful. I got the Steak and cheese Sandwich. It had a very good portion of meat, along with peppers onions and cheese. It was large enough to split. My friend got the special for the day , which was a Reuben burger. This burger was huge and came with both a burger and corned beef! I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

OK folks, if you happen to find yourself over in Holiday, Florida, please check out this locals fav of a diner, called The Holiday House Restaurant. The Google reviews were right, the place is down home for sure, and full of regulars that come in probably daily. It’s very impressive to watch the wait staff and the manager greet most of the customers by name and definitely by face! You don’t have to wait to get a menu and the servers are right on it. They actually look like they enjoy their job. The place is small & located in a plaza but I sat in there for a while and that place is a revolving door! It revolves faster than a waffle house and yes it is full of grandparents. Meaning that a lot of the local seniors go here because Holiday, Florida is definitely a retirement town. But everyone was friendly, mannerable & welcoming. I was there by myself, but people were greeting me and wishing me well, smiling and nodding their heads at me. I also found out that the manager is from Georgia like myself so we had a great convo about that! If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely stop in again and the cook was just one guy I believe his name was Curtis and he whipped those meals up so fast everything was good and fresh. I only wished the coffee was stronger, it was very weak & I shouldn’t have to ask for napkins.

Absolutely will not be back. The food is bland-although there’s a LOT of it. I can’t tell that’s even corn! And the meatloaf is so chewy I worry about its digest-ability. I used so much salt on the potatoes that I began to worry about my heart and that was when I said, “I’m not eating this!”

Delicious. Awesome eggs Benedict. I got spinach, feta, with ham. He said his waffles were really good. Nice atmosphere, coffee continually was filled and Kaylah was very friendly. Oh and loved the coffee ☕. Great price for breakfast.

Prices do not match up to what they advertised online i ordered a hearty man breakfast online says 11.50 granted I added some things like cheese to my eggs the breakfast sandwich they say comes with choice of bread they charge extra if it’s raisin bread what should have been the cheese they charged me extra for in the grits I never got BUT the hostess was incredibly nice and friendly and the service was quick aside from the price difference and things missing from the order the food was delicious and now knowing the actual prices would go back again (I added a star after i ate the food)
