If you have not been here yet, you are making a mistake with your choices! Real & delicious food. Salems’s history on its walls….it is homey, down to earth & just welcoming. 10/10! I highly recommend you check them out!!! Tell a friend! Bring the family! They have kid options too! They never disappoint. Excellent customer service; personal, inviting & kind. I love coming here! I can’t wait to show my family from back home this place when they come to visit!

We ordered through DD for the first time. Burger arrived with bottom bun soggy and falling apart and the yolk everywhere from the egg. (Not their fault it got soggy while delivering) My husband still enjoyed it! He had tots for his side and liked those.
I ordered the club. It was good, but small for the price. I had soup of the day for my side, which ended up being chili. I would not order that again.
We didn’t care for the ranch (tasted like bottled hidden valley dressing).
Good food, but over $40.00 for lunch is excessive.

We ordered two full orders of biscuit and gravy for pickup. We live less than a mile away. The gravy was thin, bland, and obviously had water added to stretch it. The eggs were overcooked and scorched.

I have eaten eggs benedict at several breakfast spots. The eggs benedict here? AMAZING. The English muffin? Crispy perfection. The Canadian bacon? Crunchiness that even your grandma’s cooking couldn’t begin to rival. The poached eggs? A beautiful delicacy. The cooking from Anthony and the welcoming atmosphere provided by Ashley have made the decision to become a life long patron an easy choice.

So… I’m a little torn here. I’ll go with the positives first. We were the only ones in there, but service was lovely. They even modified a large portion for me. Food was good, with simple creative twists on everyday faves (chicken wrap with a fried tortilla, for instance). Prices super affordable.
On the down side, I wished we hadn’t got sucked in as soon as we opened the door. It smelled terrible, like unclean. The bathroom was filthy. The only thing that was clean in the whole place was the the seats and tables, that’s about it. The carpet was gross, the walls, grimy, could use a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom needs updated… the old laminate, sticky and black, will likelynever come clean if tried. The cook (owner, I’m thinking) probably doesn’t realize how loud he talks, especially on the phone with inspectors.
I did enjoy our sweet waitress, and my perfectly portioned meal, but unless it gets cleaned and updated, from probably 1950, we won’t be back.

We arrived at 9:10 and almost left because the restaurant was closed despite opening at 9. Right as we were leaving someone opened the restaurant and so we decided to stay. Unfortunately I wish we hadn’t. My eggs and bacon were very delicious but my waffle came burnt and tasted very sour. At first I thought the syrup was fruit flavored the taste was so strong. It is the first waffle I left unfinished.
My friends eggs had shells in it and she barely could eat the biscuits and gravy. She said the gravy was completely flavorless and the texture was not right. She was also charged more than what the menu had listed. There were also a lot of flies around us and landing on our food.
The coffee was fine and the service was good. Unfortunately the food was so bad we won’t be returning.

The food was so yummy. I will definitely be back for another breakfast burrito. The waitress was AMAZING. She was so sweet with my rambunctious kiddos and played along with the silliness. In addition to that, she was on top of everything we could want and more. The cook was so kind too. I caught my 1 year old playing peak a boo with him from her highchair while he was cooking in the back. We wound up lingering for quite a while as it was such a nice place to sit back with your family and just enjoy. It literally felt like being at home. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
