When you walk in, most people say hello. I know their was a language barrier but an Hola would have been better than nothing. Place seemed dirty. Pan looked good. But after we purchased the items and brought them back. They were dry and seemed old. Couple days old tops. No moisture in the pan at all. Didn’t like this place at all.

The owner of the place acts like he is doing a favor to the community. He needs to greet his customers with a smile and ask politely how he is able to help them. His lack of humility drives people away. Just because he has a lot customers doesn’t mean he is doing great. His business could be better with better service.

Their tamales are delicious and the quesadillas bread. The ladies are not too friendly. They should be nicer to get more customers to come and feel welcome. They should also fix it up a little more, the place looks sad but the breakfast are bomb

Stopped at this bakery. The pastries were definitely a day old; maybe 2. They were hard like rocks. No freshness about them. So if you decide to go. You were warned

If u haven’t noticed this little Bakery before.., it is probably bc of;
1) .. it’s relatively small sign in front of the store.
2) ..u are not a ‘Local’ resident, who knows about it & probably pass by it.., whenever you’re driving down Old Valley Blvd., onto Old Glendora Ave and going past the Historic District, to Hacienda Ave.
Word up! I like it bc they have been there since who knows when?? And, they make a variety of the ‘typical’ bread u will find in many Hispanic Markets.. But?
They also make Breads & Pastries that are unique to this Bakery, as well as Champurrado, Tamales & Deli type sandwiches.., and..,
They serve breakfast w/a self serve Coffee bar & tables to enjoy ur morning “Pan y cafecito”
Mind u the place is relatively small so there is a line very early, that usually shortens as the day gets later. I highly recommend a visit here when u have the time to sit, relax.., and enjoy!

The worst customer service, I ordered a cake mil hojas, then I payed two days ago and the lady always with her bad face and her attitude she didn’t want to give me my cake!?! Are u Fr? , if she doesn’t like her job then leave ma’am, then Jessica received my money by Zelle and I was trying to call her to talk with the lady in charge of the bakery, well she never responded my call but they want my money. Heck no! Headache for this weekend. Thanks ladies.

True Salvadorian Bakery in La Puente. They have all sorts of Salvadorian products. Their pupusas are good. The only reason I give it a 3 is the counter person was a little rude. But the food is a 5… and the baked goods is a 10.

Great small little bakery and pupusa spot. People are friendly and the food is good. Nice place to sto by and have a meal. Or to get fresh bread during these cold days.

Over the years I’ve ordered cakes in this facility. I’ve never had a problem receiving my order. But throughout these past months they started with horrible service. Today May 14, 2017 I ordered a cake and the guy that received my call asked for my name and phone number. I said I’ll be there at 4 PM and when I arrived asking for my order I get a surprise that they sold the cake! Instead of offering an apology the baker starts attending other customers and ignores you. They now lost a customer I’m never buying anything here again. For those who buy bread be careful alot of flies are in the bread and once I told the guy and instead of removing it he just simply said “oh well bad luck to whoever buys and eats it” I wish a health inspector would visit soon this facility has gone very bad! Don’t recommend.
