Very nice, friendly people who work here. I had coffee here, which was good. The customer service was excellent. Halloween had just passed the day before and they gathered up what candy they had left and actually gave it to me and to two highschool ladies sitting in front of me. Very welcoming place here. I wish I would have eaten here because I’m sure the food is also excellent.
UPDATE: I went back the next day, and I’m very happy I did. The food was amazing. Especially their fries. And the philly cheese steak sandwich I had was spot on. Just as tasty as it looks in the picture I took of it. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a combination of an upscale restaurant and a hometowny, friendly, welcoming vibe. If you’re here in Nenena, it would be well worth it to stop in this jewel.

This was such a great place to eat! We had a BLT with soooo much bacon. Portion sizes are huge and so is Annie’s personality! We laughed and ate and she shared stories. It was clean and staff was friendly. The dessert was amazing… if you order ice cream be prepared to eat a lot! Cheesecake was amazing.

Omg SOOOOOO good! My family and I just ate here on our way from Denali to Fairbanks. The reviews raved about the club and Philly and they weren’t wrong! Huge portions and absolutely delicious! Annie was so friendly too. She really made us all feel welcome and spoiled my kiddos too. Thank you for a perfect lunch experience!

We stopped here because it was the only place open for dinner between Denali NP and Fairbanks, and it exceeded our expectations by a mile – the food was great (fish & chips and philly cheese steaks), but don’t just eat there, talk to Annie. She’s super kind, a total hoot, and extremely interesting. This place is a must go!

I stopped into Rivertime Cafe yesterday on my way back to North Pole and it was delicious! 20 plus years in Alaska and I’ve never drove into Nenana but I’m glad I did because the french fries and cheese steak from the Cafe were outstanding. The fresh brewed tea was some of the best I’ve ever had. Next time I’m down the Parks highway I will stop in for the meatball sandwich.

Delicious crispy fries and best macaroni salad! We love their deep fried shrimp and fish n’ chips are one of our favorite plates. For dessert, their banana split is loaded with toppings and it’s fun just to go for dessert. Above some tasty options, Annie and their staff are so friendly and great service.

We stopped here for lunch in September, 2019, and had a delightful time. Met the owner, a wonderful young woman with a big heart and bigger smile. Got an ENORMOUS salad for a very reasonable price, and everything was fresh and delightful. The iced tea was cold-brewed – not instant. We even broke down and had dessert – something we rarely do on the road. The pumpkin pie was flavorful, with a light, flaky crust. And the total cost was no more than I’d have expected to pay in “the lower 48” for a comparable meal, which was a really big surprise. Sadly, I don’t expect to pass this way again in the near future, but should I ever be in Nenana again, dining again here will definitely be on the “to do” list!
