But the real reason I keep coming back is the naan. It’s hands-down the best I’ve had anywhere: fresh out of the oven, perfectly blistered, impossibly flaky, and soft with just the right chew. Slightly crisp on the edges, warm and pillowy in the center, and fragrant with butter—it’s the kind of naan you could eat on its own and still be happy.
One word of caution: be mindful of the spice level you order. This place is the real deal—when you ask for spicy, expect Asian spicy, not Americanized spicy.
If you’re here, don’t skip the naan. Honestly, it’s reason enough to come back.
I’ve dined there several times but I mostly take out. The inside has a cozy intimate feel to it. But they usually aren’t busy weekdays. Probably because most people take out.
Absolutely delicious! The Butter Chicken Combo from Mr. Masala was rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the sauce had just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The garlic naan was soft, buttery, and paired beautifully with the curry. Portion size was generous, and everything tasted freshly made. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Indian comfort food!
food wise: very important details to consider-
just because it’s vegan/ doesn’t mean it healthy.
I had the vegetable potato Samosa – it’s deep fried with canola oil (extremely processed oil) consuming oils like these make vegan/vegetarian options unhealthy. It’s almost like eating a McDonald chicken nugget.
Not saying this in a negative tone, just sharing honest thoughts. The potato was bland, typically with food like this, spices sometimes make up for the dish but unfortunately it didn’t. Just a potato deep fried with bread.
Lentil soup- had a broth feel to it, it also lacked taste and flavor. It wasn’t horrible, it just wasn’t great either. This is important because when it’s a lentil soup something has to stand out about it, it’s a healthier option so the taste makes up for the dish being a healthy. Upon asking, they also add canola oil to this soup. ((Not as much as the other foods on the menu, but still heavy and that gets people bloated) they should consider making foods with coconut oil. The place did seem to be clean. But people make the build what it is)
We ordered 3 combos among 4 people and the waiter was nice enough to split the common elements such as the soup or the dessert four ways without us even asking for it. He referred to my parents as My uncle and my Aunty; and suggested the best dishes; brought the food promptly…
We went there a second time within two days bcoz that’s how much we loved the food and the service. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves and knows Indian food.
After such amazing service; I’d give them like 100 stars!
Must visit or take out! We loved the grub. Highly recommend to all Indians.
