The prices were average, with our group of 4 paying around $9 per person with coffee. The working staff were friendly and very busy taking orders, but still managed to provide great service.
One of the best parts? Free parking was available on the spot in the strip shopping lot! No hassle or extra fees, which was a lovely surprise.
Overall, I highly recommend The Bagel Spot & Cafe for a delicious breakfast or snack in a charming setting. Can’t wait to come back!”
It’s not about the two dollars, it’s about principle. Automatically adding a tip without the customer’s consent for a takeout feels sneaky and unethical. I can’t help but wonder how many people who stop by every morning for a quick bagel or coffee are getting charged extra without realizing it.
If this is how they run things, I won’t be back.
would say need to talk to workers a little about order numbers or speaking louder-i dont have impaired hearing really but i couldnt hear one worker which isnt their fault really-but something to mention.
their website isnt too user friendly for prices and ordering though, which can be an accessibility issue. i am a bery anxious person and like to pre-plan the money and items but i had to go inside and akwardly stare at the menu for price. might turn some people off unless they know the prices.
overall good food, but might wanna check on the website set up (and if its the whole chain like this then the who chain needs a website overhaul)
I going to the Melrose location from now on, they have respectful management.
But the woman (who I think is the new owner) with the red hair in space buns at the Winchester location, is the most unprofessional and rudest person that has ever served me food.
Yells at customers to move around in a rude tone, flattened my sandwiches down and left giant finger prints, and has no positive personality at all, you can tell the employees have zero respect for her.
Also the teenage girl at the register in the hoodie and red gloves (who i’m told is her daughter) rarely talks, always has attitude, is always complaining to other employees about her job, always has headphones in and whispers to customers that have to ask her to repeat what she said.
