The lady taking orders is quite abrasive, but I mean with a place like this, what do you expect? Exactly that. Like you’re bothering them.
The place gets you with the name, at least it got me with it.

I ordered the Chicago-style hot dog and chili dog. The hot dogs were boiled and both were served on generic non-toasted buns. The Chicago style includes all the essential ingredients. My least favorite dog was the chili dog. The chili does not look very appetizing. I’m positive that it’s not homemade because of the incorrect color and texture. Its basic cheese sauce was standard. Their hot dogs are average overall.

The place was not very welcoming, the service wasn’t bad the lady was polite but slow at expediting, the food was terrible, I ordered a Cheeseburger with fries, the cheeseburger was definitely frozen patties from from a low end brand the fries were way overcooked too crispy and way to salty. I ordered an Italian sausage to go with extra sweet peppers the Italian sausage was boiled and had zero flavor I mean come on already, the sweet peppers were completely wilted down to nothing and also had the flavor profile of boiled water…..the Italian bread roll it came on was steamed. I will never be back……

This place has odd hours, but I remember liking it a few years ago. I was finally in the area when they where open and gave them another try. 2 overcooked hot dogs and a weirdly sweet cheeseburger that fell apart. It’s a no from me dog

When visiting, as we often do (my daughter and I visit family), gotta take advantage of what Chi-town is known for: Chicago dog!
Never been to this dive before. Only drive thru is open. They take cash as well as card.
My sister, her son and my daughter and I all had the special: two Chicago dogs and fries. Hot dog was loaded, juicy and warm. Fries were crispy.
Oh man, so, so mouth watering delicious! Simple but so good!
Overall: I wanna another hot dog!!!! Whaaaaaa! 🙂

Stopped for lunch. Tried asking some questions and the employee was not friendly answering in one word answers. The prices seem high. For 2 hotdogs and fries cost $17. and change.

Plenty of outdoor seating in the shade or in the sun. A good local business with yummy mild chili dogs. The crispy chicken sandwiches are big—they do not skimp on their chicken. I hear the Wolf Sauce is really tangy. They make a good Maxwell Street Polish and a Chicago Dog. I highly recommend.

I bought a hot dog with everything order of fries and a tamale.
I have plenty of issues with everything first of all the price was ridiculous $15.09 seriously!!!???
So the issue with the hot dog was just the price no complaints about the quality of the hot dog but the price was $6 just for the hot dog the price for the french fries was 375 I did not order a large order so if they gave me a large order it wasn’t because I asked them to I just wanted a side order with the hot dog and thirdly the tamale was $3.50 and it was at least 2 days old it was totally dry and disgusting I threw half of it out.
Will NOT be visiting this place in the near future or ever for that matter
