I just want to thank the wonderful owner/manager/staff of this establishment for their patience and understanding that stretched far beyond any expectations when I faced an unexpected situation that forced me to park my motorcycle on their property for an unacceptable amount of time.

Having traveled from Rockport to Corpus Christi on a warm evening, I was shocked to find myself met with dangerous riding conditions the following afternoon, the violent trembling of my extremities nearly causing me to wreck my motorcycle at 70mphs!

Time after time, I would pull off an exit to regain my senses, trying to shake feeling back into my fingers, teeth chattering and my arms stiff.

Finally admitting defeat, I parked at Starbucks, ordering hot cocoa from one of the kindest little baristas this world will ever have, heart in my shivering hands as I called an Uber.

Scared and embarrassed, at least I was alive, intent on retrieving my motorcycle the following day. …. as I’m sure you guessed, the next day delivered even colder temperatures, my hopes diminishing that the bike would remain as the owner was well within their right to tow.

When at last I arrived, heart thumping with dread only to (literally) have me JUMP in surprise…. well, even as I type this, tears well up in my eyes and my gratitude leaves me at a lack of words.

Meagan, Allie…. all of you amazing folks who have shown me more kindness than I ever thought possible….. I cannot thank you enough. I always say that the workers on the front lines are a reflection of those who employ them and while I will NEVER take advantage of the patience shown by the owner/manger of this property, please know i will not forget the kindness shown to a stranger who–for all you knew–was demonstrating to a careless, rude and nihilistic attitude towards you and your paying customers.

Bikers everywhere— this is an establishment that CARES for your safety and I will happily sing the praises of these people for as far as my motorcycle and me can go!

Customer service is always excellent. Food can be a hit or miss. That is a corporation issue. I get a breakfast sandwich and at times no bacon or 1 little piece of bacon. For the price i am charged on that little sandwich it is unacceptable. Starbucks over charges and under delivers with quality of food. I dont recommend the food unless your starving. Coffe is always great but over priced.

One cup of coffee with sm amount SF Vanilla ordered. I waited 15 minutes for the coffee. As usual 4 or 5 baristas in the store and one was working. Two were busy chatting with a customer, at the end of the counter. When they finished their apparently hilarious discussion, one (that appeared to be a customer) went behind the counter and was filling orders. When I received my decaf it was with regular vanilla and hazelnut (which I detest). I have not been in a store for a couple years, now I recall why.

Starbucks is a Starbucks…. Wrong, not all Starbucks operate the same. This one the staff is amazing and they’re very friendly. I appreciate the manager for holding my iPad as i drove 35 miles away until i realized i left it behind. Thank you for your honesty.

Don’t use for large meetings if being on time is critical. Ordered/paid 24 hours in advance. Called over an hour in advance to confirm pick up time. Had to leave 30 minutes after arrival with only a portion of the order (order was only 3 boxes of coffee). Got that special “have a nice day” that clearly translates to “don’t care”.

I waited on doing this post for a bit trying to give them multiple chances but the girl at the window today was so rude! She should not be in customer service your job isn’t that hard. I am hopeful the Rockport location opens fast as the customer service at this location is rock bottom. Also, drinks are horrible. Not sure what happen here but they all need more training as well as a manager that can see this behavior and correct it. Avoid this location at all cost.
