Next level. The atmosphere was electric, with great music and a lively crowd. The highlight for me was discovering that they serve street-style tacos that tasted just like the ones from back home in TX. The combination of the fantastic food, vibrant ambiance, and friendly staff made it an unforgettable night out. Roar is definitely my new favorite spot in town! Only takes 1.

I’m not a bot so don’t usually make google reviews but this is the Worst Place EVER. I had a terrible time and I am including a photo of THE hotdog that I purchased for $9.81 at the Roar food truck. WORST HOTDOG OF MY LIFE. They gave us a sympathy, one ounce, bag of Doritos to go along with it. What a joke. I hope they go out of business. If you absolutely hate money and want to get rid of it as fast as possible while getting nothing in return go to Roar!!

Absolutely the best sports and music experience in Clemson. The food is authentic and the waitstaff is cordial and on the spot. Greatest place to watch big screen sports in an exciting atmosphere. You have to try the tacos while watching a exciting football game!!!

Amazing service, the establishment has such a welcoming outside environment which is perfect for having a drink and catching up with friends. They really display their love for the Clemson tigers through their color scheme, murals, and events happening weekly. Wouldn’t want to relax during the day or enjoy my night anywhere else!

THE MOST AMAZING NEW BAR IN CLEMSON!! awesome food and drinks, great atmosphere, and overall awesome time. the vault (their version of a private room) is an absolute must see, and the opening of Roar has definitely raised downtown clemson to a whole new level. couldn’t recommend more!!!!

I wasn’t going to a college bar expecting gourmet food, but in all honesty, it was pretty gross. The quesadillas tasted like a worse version of those frozen Trader Joe’s tacos and the chips were incredibly stale. At least the food and drinks were relatively cheap. But there are much better places in downtown Clemson.

For $10 a person you would think that the screen that shows the game would work but there was a black bar that covered all the action the entire time during every big play. Very disappointing

I’m sure people like this place for the bar. As far as the tacos…they are pretty meh. Tortillas were kind of strange. The only toppings were cheese, pico, and cilantro. They didn’t have any lime. No salt. Guac tasted like just mashed avocados and tomatoes…weird. The waitress was super nice and friendly but I probably wouldn’t go back just based off the food.
