The Chef Nancy is wonderful!! Love her passion! She so talented she painted her own place and handmade all those little food decor! You can tell how much she cares about what she’s doing! The food is amazing! I highly recommend her signature dish Pork Hang Lae! It’s the top notch! Grilled pork, papaya salad and Namtok Nuea it all was soo delicious and many more. I have to go back and try everything!!

This place was my favorite restaurant and it devastated me when I had to move. I have not been able to find Thai at my new city that I enjoy as much as I loved the Thai here. The name fits, ‘cause it’s super tasty. The staff are friendly and professional and the paintings and decor are pretty. I meant to write this review like a year ago, but the fact that I’m still thinking about it after I haven’t eaten there in slightly over a year should testify to how cool they are.

Golden Moneybags, Tiger Cry and I don’t remember the name of mom’s dish were fabulous. Ordered medium heat. Food had a slow warmth too it and got spicier the further into the dishes we got. If you Thai you will love this place.

Always love the food here. You really can’t go wrong, it is always good. But recently I’ve seen increases in price and while I totally understand it and are willing to pay for it, paying $1.04 for extra cilantro for a dish and receiving it hot, uncut and wilted is bizarre to me. $1 for this?

I don’t want you taking up my seat/parking spot. This place is soooooooooo dang good. No exaggeration it’s easily 5 stars. Ive been coming to this place for at least 10-15 years (can’t remember exactly when I found it) and I’ve never once been let down. I mean just consider that……..I’ve eaten this place for at least like once every couple weeks or months for *over* ten years and the worst thing I’ve ever been served was I think ONE time the naan/rotie/whatever bread was a little burned. That’s a hell of a track record for that many years. I tip them extra every time I eat there because I want it to stay!

This is hands down the best Thai place in Jax. There is no doubt about it. They put so much thought into making the money and food as authentic as possible. They definitely succeeded in doing that. My boyfriend is part Thai and his family says it’s the most authentic food. I love going there for any thai cravings I have. It is totally worth the drive every time.

Dining atmosphere is pretty chill and service is usually decent. They tend to get busy during peak hours and usually don’t have adequate staffing to cover. So, wait times can vary.
It’s a “hole in the wall” type of place and very unassuming from the appearance but it’s obvious that they care about the quality of their food and the enjoyment of your meal.
I would rate it:
7.5/10 for service and dining experience
9.5/10 for taste and quality of food
Also, pricing is reasonable and there’s always plenty of parking.

Simply Tasty Thai is one of my favorite spots in Jacksonville! I’ve eaten in and ordered takeout, and both experiences have been fantastic. My go-to dish is the pineapple fried rice, which comes beautifully served in half of a pineapple—it looks amazing and tastes even better! The portions are generous, the flavors are fresh, and the staff is always so kind and helpful. Definitely come hungry—every dish is big, flavorful, and absolutely worth it!

I am appalled I even have to leave this review. I had to go to the hospital last night after ordering food from this restaurant! I found PLASTIC in my food!! I have never experienced this before and not to mention, the food is a bit pricey SO YOU WOULD EXPECT PROPER HANDLING! Also, I ordered BEEF massaman curry and they placed all different types of meat into my food (no idea what the meat was and the texture was TOUGH, hard as a rock) I will not be eating here ever again. You guys need to pay attention to how you handle your customers’ food! A lot of military people eat here, be careful guys! You can’t fight for our country on this kind of food intake! Do better!
