I recently visited Shaking Seafood, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The fact that the shrimp wasn’t properly cleaned was a major letdown, especially considering the prices. Additionally, the mussels weren’t cleaned either, which really makes me question their kitchen practices overall. To top it off, my bill came out to a staggering $113, inflated by the mandatory tipping for service. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. And there attitude is getting better compared to the last time I went.

I’ve gotten seafood boil and their fried fish platters often! This place does not disappoint and stay consistent! Highly recommended!

This is my favorite seafood boil in Boston. The employees have always been friendly to me and now recognize my family and me since we’ve become regular patrons. I highly recommend getting the flavorful Shaking Sauce (Hot) for the perfect amount of kick without being overwhelmingly hot. The hush puppies are also the best hush puppies I’ve had as I don’t normally like them but the ones here are delicious. I also recommend the Shirley temple for the drink. The free 1/2 – 1lb of crab legs depending on how much you order is also a nice touch. All in all 10/10 dining experience and one I can’t recommend enough.

I got extremely sick eating here. The crabs were clearly precooked because they were so soft you couldn’t crack them. Next, the crawfish are so small you can barely twist the tails off. The eggs were absolutely old because they were extremely dark inside. I took a bite of everything to see if I was just imagining things, until I got to the corn. That’s when I quit (one bite of crab, crawfish, and corn – I didn’t bite the egg when I seen the color). I’ve worked with seafood for years and this was by far the least fresh; so unfortunately at 4AM I was projectile throwing up everything possible. I also ordered a side of garlic noodles and chicken – I strictly ate here in the past 72 hours. Lastly, I ordered non spicy and my boil was still spicy. The 10$ fee for those baby crawfish? The throwing up? I’m all set. But only plus? Delivered insanely fast.

A good, hearty meal. We had the mild shaking sauce with the crawfish, shrimp, mussel combo; the sauce was a bit watered down, but still tasted good. Tasty for the $25 price.

The real star of the show was the fried shrimp basket with Cajun fries. Both were super crispy and we would return for this basket!

Overall, not best seafood boil we’ve had, but staff was friendly and decor was cute

The food was awesome with some very friendly staff, been driving by this place since they open but never had the right time to stop until today, gladly I don’t regret my decision cuz is my new favorite spot in the neighborhood.

Loved the garlic noodles. The shrimp and hush puppies were good.

My favorite sauce to get with the broil bag is the (hot) shaking sauce. This time around I got either the cajun butter or lemon pepper and didn’t enjoy it as much.

Good eats!

this was very disappointing, i went there and as soon as she greeted me, she gave me attitude and just threw the plates onto our table. that made me and my family feel unwelcome in this atmosphere. my youngest sister felt uncomfortable and was fidgeting like crazy. after we paid even more than the amount she charged us, the lady with the bob cut chased us out and said we didn’t tip her when we gave her a few extra dollars. I understand that might not be a lot, but for her service i don’t think she deserved a dollar more than what we gave her.

When we went into the restaurant, she gave us a dirty look, the girl with the bob haircut. Then I believed she started talking bad about us in her own language. Customer service was so bad, for example she threw plates at us trying to serve us. I was very upset. Would never recommend. There were also children at the table.
