We regularly visit the location on Elliot and McQueen, but tonight we wanted something quick and closer to home. We ordered a cabeza burrito and an adobada plate with extra pico. We got to the window and the employee gave us our total in Spanish. We don’t speak Spanish. She proceeds to run our card and hand us the receipt where we noticed the pico was a $2.20 upcharge. $2.20?! Maybe we would get a whole side of pico and it would be justified. Nope! Not only did the plate only have one decent sized scoop on it, but it was practically just tomato and onion. It doesn’t taste great and the dish is supposed to come with some anyway. We feel like we did not get our money’s worth. Once we got past the pico, the adobada is not good. It’s tough chunks of pork in some sort of paste that tastes more like pastor than anything. It even has pineapple chunks. The cabeza burrito also came with extra ingredients that we did not order. We will not be visiting this location again. We’d rather go to Senor Taco Express. At least there the food is accurate and tastes good.

I had the opportunity to show a house to my client in the area. With some spare time before the appointment, I decided to treat myself to some delicious tacos.
Although I was excited to try the food, I found the customer service to be lacking. The cashier seemed no customer service in her bones and didn’t offer the warmest welcome.
As I paid for my order, I noticed a discrepancy between the price on the poster and the amount on my bill. When I pointed it out, the cashier responded in a less than ideal manner, saying, “You already paid, what can you do about it?”
Despite the disappointing customer service, I must say that the tacos were delicious. However, I have decided that this will be my last visit to this establishment.
It’s a shame because it seems like the owner has invested a lot in creating this place. Nevertheless, I am willing to drive an extra 5 miles to enjoy tacos at another spot that offers a more positive experience.

Lot was empty, so parking was easy. Drive thru available. The cashier was patient, but I couldn’t get questioned answered because she didn’t speak English (and my Spanish isn’t what it used to be). I would order the carne asada burrito again. FILLED with steak. Like…that’s all it is, but it has Pico & guacamole in it. (I expected it on the side.) It was good tho. Grilled on the outside. Was told the chorizo burrito was good. Green and red salsa, and a carrot/Jalapeño mix is available in a cold buffet. They sell Jaritos and have horchata. I saw nachos, tacos and fries on the menu. Food was ready relatively quickly and was HOT (temp wise, not spice). The bag was like fire on my arm. Lol Still hot when we got home to eat it. I would go there again.

I ordered a carne asada plate. It is supposed to be piece of meat. It was not. When I nicely asked for my money back within minutes of ordering the cashier said she could not open the register. I had to go back the next morning and talk to Maria. I did. Maria tried to issue a refund without the tax I already paid. She was not happy about that. When I said not to worry I wouldn’t be back, so we would never have this issue again. She said good we dont like your kind. I am not sure if she meant people that won’t just eat what they didnt order or if she meant a white woman. Either way I do not appreciate being scammed. It is false advertising to show a solid cut of steak and sell ground chuck in its place. They get away with it in the burritos but that’s why I order the plate. Unfortunately this Filibertos just lost all other locations my business.

I try to be positive and support local businesses, but this location needs serious help!
I have been coming here since they opened. Here are the issues;
– Food is cold !! Tonight I ordered two burritos and BOTH of them were cold!
– Nickel and Dime you for everything. I
Ordered onions and cilantro on one burrito, I was CHARGED for both ingredients, but here’s the kicker, THEY DIDN’T PUT THEM IN MY BURRITO!!!!
– Inconsistency!!! They advertise 24 hour drive through. There are evening at 8:45, 9, 10pm when I tried to order food and they are closed!
– Other times they didn’t get my drive thru order right and/or they didn’t put my food in the bag!!
– Bait and switch pricing. When you order from the drive through they post one price, then you go pay for the food and the price is significantly more. I brought this up to the employee and she said, I’m not the owner. If you don’t like it I will cancel your order. With so many other Mexican restaurants near by this is NOT how you treat customers.
– This location is a franchisee of Filberto’s. The owner is cheap according to the employees. This is what the employees said! Employees have no respect for their employer, that says a lot.
Overall, drive the extra 4 miles to a corporate owned Filberto’s. I just have experienced way too many problems with quality of food at this location.
I have CALLED the number posted and literally left 6 messages.
They really don’t care about customers, they may “respond” to a review only to save face. This location consistently service Horrible customer service.
I WILL NEVER give them a $0.01

I wanted to do Filiberto’s reviews primarily to indicate which ones have open lobbies 24 hrs. a day and which ones are still 24 hrs. a day in the drive thru only.
This location HAS A CLOSED LOBBY EVERY DAY FROM 10:00 PM TO 8:00 AM.
I’m not sure why some of the locations started doing this, but I don’t like it!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. If you want to be treated like a piece of trash then come here. Otherwise, don’t even waste your time or money. I have been to so many other Filiberto’s locations and have never had such rude customer service.

Do not recommend coming here I’ve been here twice the food is not good I purchased a adobad burrito it looked like pork mixed with red paste, today I bought 3 birria tacos I wanted to give them another chance. First the wrong price was given 4.99 then at window it ended up being 6.99 per taco. SMH and the birria tacos were done incorrectly no red sauce just meat with lots of cheese. If you are going to buy food here check your food before you leave. Just trying to get the correct price was a hassle.
